Ok fellow fanatics, your challenge is to explain the process, mathematically, how Ryan Waters gets a WBA top ten ranking.

Grant,

Good question. Please forward your query to the WBA because I can't work it out nor can I make any sense in it.

And I think that will be the general concenus on this board!

Some numpties on here get carried away with themselves and insult Artturo Gatti as a club fighter. I'd say, from my perspective, that Ryan Waters is a good quality club fighter, realistically.

mundine has always seemed to be "in" with the WBA, so i guess its got sumfin to do with that???
plus to me it really doesnt matter, cos neither guy deserves a shot at the title holder Miguel Cotto. its just a beat up from mundine to generate money at the end of the day. and i wont be contributing to it.

Nor will I, I won't even go to the pub to watch it, in fact I'll black list any pub that buys his fights. I won't even buy the brand of beer that's on tap at the pubs that I've blacklisted from buying his fight.

More than 20 years ago Ring Magazine had an article on the WBA, titled "Why Bother answering?" Keep in mind this is the mob that stripped Ali of his heavyweight title and held a tournament, only to see Ali play with their eventual "champion" for 15 rounds as punishment for stealing his title.

Their champion, Ernie Terrell, was the last World Heavyweight Champion run by the mob. Seems that was not as bad as changing your religion and not allowing yourself to be used to lure young men into getting themselves killed in somebody else's civil war.
