both skelton and williams vs Bob Mirovic.

They both stopped them in 4th, skelton had a bit of a struggle if you ask me, williams took a few rounds to warm up then should his tremandous punching ability, i watched the fight the other day there, and with bob in that corner and williams with his gumshiled hanging out he really did look so vicious and powerful,

I think he hits way better ( more techinque, variety ect) and powerful than skelton, but just cant see skelton giving up, williams on points :TU:
Agree, Williams is definitely a more refined puncher than Skelton - he has thrown some classy shots in the past, even in fights where he's been 'underperforming'. The main reason for those comparisions was to show that Williams isn't as far above domestic level as most people appear to assume; in my opinion he is not, but I don't have a problem if people are fans of his and see otherwise. Saying that, I'm actually a fan of both guys, I think both come across as really sound guys in interviews.

If he loses, I want him to retire. If he can't beat Skelton there is no future left - unless it is a daylight robbery of a decision.

British Boxing says Williams is half a stone lighter than he was with Vitali too. :TU:
If I lose to Matt Skelton, there will be no where else to go, if it is a fair decision it will be goodbye, Danny Williams," said Danny who is half a stone lighter than when he climbed in the ring against Vitali Klitschko

Williams wins it with a fast jab thrown while looking away from Skelton and finishes him with a uppercut..

All over and very early!

Maybe even 1 round if Skelton rushes in as he normally does!.

Like I have said before I just have this gut feeling that Skeltons, workrate and uneducted pressure, strength and stamina will slowely mentally and physically break the more talented Williams down.

Skelton on points.

I think Williams after starting lethargically and getting bullied in the early going slowly finds his range to pick Skelton off with shots on the way in and kayos him in 7

skelton wins by late ko. i can't see skelton being intimidated by anyone. i think his determination and mental toughness will wear williams down for a late ko after williams dominating some of the early rounds

When actually is this fight? Has a date actually been set?

I think Williams on points although if he is a bit funny 'up top' Skelton might swarm him out of there inside 3 rounds and stop him (or force the ref too) based on sheer volume...
