Who's supporting Big Aud?!!!
Who's supporting Big Aud?!!!
Will Audley finally start being cheered when he does the ring walk this time.
Brits love underdogs and a man who is clearly a long shot trying to realise his dream would usually get tonnes of support.
Im a big fan on Haye but i'd still love to see Audley do himself proud even if he looses i'd like for people to be able to say he gave it his all when he had the opportunity to become world champion.
Im torn on who to cheer for - i think what they do in the ring will sway me.

Re: Who's supporting Big Aud?!!!
i know its almost impossible but i would love audley to do a number one haye....something about haye just rubs me up the wrong way....i know audley is hardly the shy reserved type but i truely believe if audley had a chance to fight a klitschko next week he would jump at the chance despite him probably being put in a coma! all haye has done is talk about fighting the klits and not backed up his talk and come out with all these contradicting excuses....
Re: Who's supporting Big Aud?!!!
I will be cheering for the A-Force
Re: Who's supporting Big Aud?!!!

Yeah pretty sick of Haye now, I basically want Aud to win because Haye actually took this fight.

I like both of them and I'm not even all that sore on Haye for the Klitschko situation (although it does admittedly look suss) but I'll be rooting for Audley on the night.

Big Audley all the way for me,i have booed him in the past but give him credit for not giving in and i hope he wins especially as haye sees this as a walkover.

Wow, a lot of support for Harrison - much more than I'd imagined. Just goes to show how much the boxing public likes an underdog.
Remember how popular Chris Eubank became only after he started featuring in the "away" corner?

C'mon Big Aud!!!!!!
Re: Who's supporting Big Aud?!!!
i think haye has let fame go to his head,so would love to see him humbled
harrison was fantastic in sydney, he really was.but he is never gonna be a lewis or a bruno for that matter.
haye is favourite, but you cant rely on his weak chin.

Re: Who's supporting Big Aud?!!!
Audley has actually mellowed IMO over the last couple of years. After he won the gold medal in Sydney I think it all went to his head a bit and I remember he was quite intolerable - so up his own a&*s. But the defeats he suffered obviously brought him crashing down to earth in a big big way, and now he's a pretty decent chap again.
David Haye himself is actually a really good bloke too but again is someone who is starting to believe his own hype a bit too much. When was the last time he really took a big one on the chin??
It's not a bad fight IMO and now for big Audley there are no excuses at all. He's got his world heavyweight title shot, and against someone he's got a bit of a beef with so the needle's there. This really is the fight where he's got to perform and be at his best. I'm expecting Haye to win reasonably quickly but if he doesn't then Audley might cause him some bother late on.

It has a lot to do with Haye ducking both Klitschkos shamelessly.oliverfennell wrote:Wow, a lot of support for Harrison - much more than I'd imagined. Just goes to show how much the boxing public likes an underdog.

Re: Who's supporting Big Aud?!!!
Found myself siding with Audley after the press conference.
Haye was basically telling the truth, but it was told in a way that was so arrogant. It was like watching a bully in the playground.
Boxing is a tough business, but there is plenty room for some humility at times.
No way can I see it happening, but I`m with A-Force. Get at him big Aud.

audley is an anus, i hope haye rips his head off...
Re: Who's supporting Big Aud?!!!
If Haye gets complacent and Audley does manage to land a big left - it'll be over and so will Haye...
I certainly don't expect that to happen with myself seeing Haye dispatching Harrison in the first half...
However, this has risky implications for David no doubt.

Then God help the heavyweight division..... :(BIGMARK wrote: however i see Haye as the future
Its a hard one to pick ... I`m praying the WBA decide they are both shyte and make the title vacant ... and keep the title in storage until a time when theres somebody worthy of the title WORLD CHAMPION.

I like both, but I'll be hoping for an upset just cos upsets are great sometimes, and as someone mentioned, he'd prob' fight the Clit's a lot quicker than Haye too.

Audley - backed him with ladbrokes in 2001 to EVER win a world title @ 25/1 8)

Re: Who's supporting Big Aud?!!!
I'm supporting Audley big time, he's a great character, he's enigmatic to say the least in the ring, but he can put guys to sleep with one shot & Haye's mad ranting then steering well clear of the Klitschko's has put me off him.
I see this going long. No way is David Haye with his ego going to risk getting knocked down or countered by Audley, so I could see something not far off Danny Williams/Audley from 2005 with neither guy wanting to take a risk.
Then David gets worried late, tries take out Audley and gets sparked.
You heard it here first!

Could an Olympic Gold Medallist out-box Haye?
Re: Who's supporting Big Aud?!!!
I wonder if Haye will back his pre-fight smack-talk up against Audley .... it would be a 1st for him at heavyweight if he does..
No. I see a boring tentative fight from both guys. Haye is already turning people against him in droves ... I see this fight as only acelerating it more..
