Fury now facing...
Tyson Fury will take on undefeated American Rich “Super” Power in a tricky looking test on the John O’Donnell v Terence Cauthen undercard on Friday night at the York Hall.
Power: Dangerous
It had been mentioned that Fury would be taking on another undefeated knockout specialist in Marcelo Luiz Nascimento, but the Brazilian is now scheduled to fight on his home soil tomorrow night.
Fury (11-0 9KO’s) now takes on 30 year-old Power who has a superb record of twelve wins and nine knockouts, eight of which were in the first two rounds.

Re: Fury now facing...
Ah yes, a stiff fights another stiff, sounds about right. I guess that stud Gavern was just too risky...

Gavern and Donnell Holmes dopped out.
Anybody surprised at Donnell Holmes dropping out....he always has an excuse not to fight somebody but then he gets on here and whines about not getting a title shot.

I hope you're joking about Powers being a stiff test. He has defeated nothing but bums and is only a part time boxer.Roars Like Me wrote:Tyson Fury will take on undefeated American Rich “Super” Power in a tricky looking test on the John O’Donnell v Terence Cauthen undercard on Friday night at the York Hall.

I tend to notice...recently, it appears british HWs are very much hated and end up looking like clowns to the eyes of the world, because they are being so overhyped before they even reach anything...Happened to Haye, Happened to Audley, and now its happening to Fury...I blame the british fans and press for that.
Guys, really stop hyping HWs like you"re doing, Fury so far is nothing, barely a club fighter, start the hype when he gets past the EBU belt...at least !

You're speaking out your arse. Fury is hardly hyped by the Brit fans. The only hype comes from his own camp.Raff The Frenchman wrote:I tend to notice...recently, it appears british HWs are very much hated and end up looking like clowns to the eyes of the world, because they are being so overhyped before they even reach anything...Happened to Haye, Happened to Audley, and now its happening to Fury...I blame the british fans and press for that.

Easy Funzo and Crusader, I just cut and pasted it from an article, I know nothing about the opponent - I'm guessing he will be bad if Fury has him on the radar...funso banjo baby wrote:Roars Like Me wrote:Tyson Fury will take on undefeated American Rich “Super” Power in a tricky looking test on the John O’Donnell v Terence Cauthen undercard on Friday night at the York Hall.

I don't know, I just speak my mind, all I say is we heard loads about Audley before he even faced anyone, and now it seems we are hearing a lot from Fury. It can't JUST be his camp can it?jBacca wrote:You're speaking out your arse. Fury is hardly hyped by the Brit fans. We heard about Audley because he won Olympic gold.Raff The Frenchman wrote:I don't know, I just speak my mind, all I say is we heard loads about Audley before he even faced anyone, and now it seems we are hearing a lot from Fury. You will get the odd fan of Fury on here, but a hell of a lot of people are realistic about his potential. The only ones who think he'll be world champ are his team.

Not sure about that, I remember recent threads on Fury and many were saying he has potential and should be given more time.jBacca wrote:We heard about Audley because he won Olympic gold.Raff The Frenchman wrote:I don't know, I just speak my mind, all I say is we heard loads about Audley before he even faced anyone, and now it seems we are hearing a lot from Fury. I don't think the majority of people/Brits have said Haye is the saviour of the heavyweight division.Raff The Frenchman wrote:indeed, but Haye has been hyped as the savior of the HW division WHILE STILL A CW !! and as the Klitschko destroyer...And that is hype not fact.yid15 wrote:Haye is world champion, thats not hype thats fact.
Nah, he's just a breath of fresh air. When he fights, that is (Valuev fight excluded, of course). He's waaaaay too inactive for my liking.
