Kid Gavilan Tournament

Post by allworld80 »

One day tourney, with the results not recorded in the offical records. Off the books, in a warehouse down by the docks, Diggstown style.

The fighter you enter must be the one you drop if he wins. In that sense, it's different than the Greb tourney.

Please sign up here, and name your fighter. ONE only.

Confirmed

(7)Tommy Bell
(13) Marlon Starling
(12) Vernon Forrest
(10) Ike Quartey
(3) Carmen Basilio
(8) Carlos Palomino
(6) Tommy Ryan
(1) Mickey Walker
(11) Lloyd Honeyghan
(5) Young Corbett III
(9) Jimmy Mclarnin
(2) Randall Bailey
(4) Simon Brown

I want in....just not quite sure which fighter I want to commit. Can I have a bit of time here? Like till Christmas or so?

Or if you have to close it right now I understand. In which case It will be only between Tommy Bell and the fighter of my choice.....Correct?

This tournament should really be giving Managers a chance to manage 3 Boxers like the Greb Tourament.

With that sid, I propose Lloyd Honeyghan in the tourament. :TU:

Think it was one of Marlin's fighters that took TJF's 0. Greb smashed him into oblivion him the following week.

TJF made more title defences than Marquez had fights. So no.

...but the fact remains....he was never smashed.

He and Collazo are the only undefeated fighters in Sim History.

Coincidence? I think not.

Managment Skill? High probability.

Em, he was defeated. By a fighter with a near .500 record at the time, I might add. :P
