Why is the Haye fight in Manchester?

I cant believe people dont think it would sell out The O2 as well.Haye-Macca was really a trade fight and that almost sold the place out.Whatever anyone thinks of Audley,he has always been a decent draw in London.The O2 and M.E.N are the only two venues that could stage it and both would sell out.The general public are really buying into this already,loads of people have asked my opinion who would not have a clue who anyone is outside Hatton,Khan and possibly Calzaghe.

It is really interesting and you would be suprised how many people in the south east have never ventured north of Milton Keynes - its quite a lot! A trip to London for a lot of northerners is nothing! Must be all those cup finals eh? Four hours on a train! If you are feeling really lazy, you can get a train from Piccadilly to Deansgate and you are a 5 minute walk from the G-Mex - It is really no big deal Londoners. Don't let the north scare you - it is like the south really but with people who talk and smile from time to time!

Read an article about the upcoming fight, and never thought about the venue. Why are 2 Londoners boxing in Manchester for the heavyweight title when it makes sense to fight in London.
