Been out since before the weekend. Why have HS kept it quiet when they were quick to tell the world Barker was out.

OH FUK this is ridiculous if true

still 3 weeks to go so hopefully its just a tweak and he will recover in a couple of days and be ok to fight on October 2nd.

If he's definately out though someone better make it official very soon for the fans going out.

Strange one this.froch said on his Twitter account that he had never been fitter on Saturday but someone is saying that they heard this before the weekend. Let's havesome official word please from hennessey. After I've spent hundreds on flights hotels and tickets I think this is the least I deserve.

FFS... boxing is becoming a joke. In a piss-poor year this was one of the few fights that could have been a highlight. As soon as I saw the title of the thread my heart just sank. It's a farce, it really is.

I also heard rumours about Froch having a back injury on Friday afternoon but it has only been confirmed today. If he actually did say that he'd never been fitter on Saturday then it's worth questioning when this injury took place (if genuine) and why he said he was fit on Saturday. I know he really wanted his old WBC belt on the line for this fight since Kessler withdrew.

Time for Showtime to call off the Super Six?

Kessler's out, Taylor's out, this has been delayed. It's all gone Pete Tong, hasn't it?

Shame, because it's produced some spellbinding contests and might have seen Ward emerge as genuine pound for pound class at the end of it all, and Dirrell emerge as genuine world class.

How can they move forward from here? Single elimination of semi-final and final with Abraham, Froch, Dirrell and Ward?

I was really looking forward to this. Damn. I really fancy Froch's chances. Why does being a fan of boxing have to be so frustrating?

It looks like the injury happened on Friday as I thought, but hopefully we'll still get to see them fight before the end of the year. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/8995893.stm

Well call me cynical but I'm not buying it. I think the fact it's being staged in Monaco and, crucially, the title now not being on the line, means the risk versus reward ratio has suddenly become all wrong for Team Froch.

It stinks. And still no word from Hennessey. what a way to treat your customers. I tried to get through on the phone in the middle of the afternoon, and they had put the answerphone on.
