B-Hop is one of the few guys who lives a clean life.

No Drugs, No Alcohol, Marred and good family man. Figures that at 44, he is remarkebley still p4p up there.
people who have met him say he's an arsehole
Those are the same people who would probably, given the opportunity, swap their life with Hopkins! You cannot please all of the people all of the time! Hopkins is a rare breed - he says what's on his mind & sometimes, people don't like that type of individual. Where-as most people think things & not say them, B-Hop does say them, which is not always the wisest way to be, but that's him!

Hopkins made time for a mega-fan of his who recently passed away after suffering from an illness (I think it was cancer), & to me anyone who does that type of thing is a decent bloke!

Irregular heartbeat for a healthy lad like Ricky suggests too much partying.
Come on Carbo, Partying with the Oasis borthers in Brazil, irregular heartbeats... doesnt take a genius, or does it?

Well, it did cross my mind, but I didn't really want to jump to conclusions. Too many people take inference as fact, but you're right to think that that's what I was prodding at.

Sorry, wasn't pulling you up on your spelling, it's just that I rarely get the chance to make my advocaat joke, & it's one of my favourites (for sentimental reasons).

No wonder the Gallagher brothers look knackered all the time. Their arses must be as red as the shirts of the team they despise.

Liam Gallagher has a face I'd like to belt.

His facial expression seems to always exude, in no particular order, twatish-ness, arrogance, ill-intentions, aggression, abusiveness, and look at me I'm brilliant, I need loads of attention. Twat.

His brother seems fine. No surprise it's the other one's behaviour that has allegedly split up the group.

i would qualify that comment by saying I wouldn't belt him for no other reason than the cut of his jib, but were he to deliberately and purposefully go out of his way to cause offence to , or otherwise aggress/ threaten my person, then that would be f*ckin brilliant!

While were on the topic of girlfriends, Carl Froch's is the most attention seeking one there is. She even said she was using their relationship to get a job in TV presenting.

I seem to remember she worked in an FE college. She was wanting a bit too much time off so jacked it in.

Yup. Both you and I obviously thought it at the time, and it appears that it was a bit of an open secret.

The article in one of the tabloids this week said Hatton was KO'd by a body builder blah blah, but it said "pals took him back to his mansion"...yet when he was on SKY not so long back, they were at great lengths to go on about how he lives in the same road he was brought up in etc, all the I'm dead normal me schtick he's been churning out for years.

I always loved the facial scratches he sported when ringside, out of shape between camps, when the likes of Witter were fighting.

Perhaps this is Hatton's greatest demonstration of his human, normal side.

Add all the bows, belts and bank accounts but ultimately he's just a carpet fitter from Manchester.

Just as Gazza was a kid from Newcastle.

What gets under my skin is, I am pretty sure that the journalist doing the voice over on the hatton video has probably done the same thing himself, and yet here they are trying to bring someone down.

You can't apply normal logic and morality to this type of journalist. They don't see it that way. Anyone, anything, anyhow is their game.
