WW2010 Honorary SimRing/Lineal/Lonsdale Belt FINAL Report

Post by BoxBuzz »

Image
Let it be known

This Season Miguel Cotto and Henry Armstrong were the first belt holders that risked their championship belt to attain a second belt. The lineage has now been established. From this moment on the SimRing Lonsdale belt will be bestowed to anyone who can defeat Miguel Cotto in the ring, and then to he who can beat that man. This lineage is born of honor, courage and achievement and will forever be given to only those who persevere against the wearer of the SimRing/Lineal/Lonsdale belt.

No champion may be stripped of this honor unless he retires or is defeated by his opponent. No champion will ever be "given" this honor unless he earns it. We wish and hope that every champion that ever holds this belt will choose his challenger with sensibility but will be bound by no other code than his own set of values. For we know and trust that no one has a greater capacity for decision making than a standing champion. Regardless of how hard he was hit in his last defense of the Lonsdale title.

There are no rules other than the thoughtful decision of the standing champion as to who may vye for this honor. The standing champion makes his choice as to who is worthy by simply stepping into the ring with his chosen opponent. For this belt and honor denotes only actions that manifest into sim reality. We wish everyone good luck, good will, and good judgment.

Draws are unmanly and require special attention.

If a challenger should obtain a draw with a standing Lonsdale BeltHolder said challenger shall be issued a Lonsdale belt of their own. These belts may be immediately reunified if both fighters are agreeable to a return match. However the challengers belt in this case is a eunuchs belt and can not be acquired by any other combatant as it has no lineage of it's own. A eunuchs belt may be reunified by a rematch with a holder of the primary belt at any point in time when and if such an event occurs. Otherwise the challenger will remain the owner of a eunuch belt until such time as the standing Lonsdale belt holder and the Eunuch belt-holder agree to compete. Draws are not encouraged. SimRing and Lonsdale officials feel that a sanctioned fight should be won or lost, not dithered.

So it is written. So it shall be done.

Crease is going to flip his lid, fly off the handle, blow a fuse, hit the roof, have a fit, and generally be uncalmdownable for several decades. In fact, to save us from the heat that is sure to radiate from his face, I propose that we dig a hole a mile deep, drop him into it, and then seal it with lots of concrete.

I'd like Napoles to be remembered as the man who dropped the belts to give the little guys a chance.

I think he'll be remembered as one of the only champions this season NOT to face his #1 challenger......Cripes....even lowly Paul Williams faced his #1 challenger. But nooooo Not Jose. It's about management. This has been a top notch season, but sooner or later at least one slacker was BOUND to lower the bar. Jbacca.....how do you plead?

Then explain to the jury how it is that Williams faced his #1 opponent....and Your man did not......

You can't?

Then you carry with you the burden of your own decisions. However...your man remains the Lonsdale/Linear Sim Champ. No one can take that from you.

Ah yes "mandatory" A rule that is needed for those who don't face their #1 challengers willingly. Folks like....well we know who. Williams needed no "mandatory"....Nor did Robinson, Cotto, Armstrong or Basilio. The giants of the season. Then we have the "others".

Kevo....not to worry, these weeks have been accelerated so I figured I'd update it all in one final swoop.

Ray will have his picture ....awaiting the final outcome.

Whitaker remains an echo with his eunuch status.........and may require a post season exhibition fight.

This was fun, but far to straightforward fair and balanced for my temperament.

You should keep this stickied to remind us who was the longest running champ from each respective season.

I.e. put mention of Napoles and 6 wins, delete all other information, then add information to do with whatever season we're in.

The Lonsdale report will return, when relevant. It will remain unbiased, and continue to operate under the grand tradition of equitable fairness to all who inherit the lineal honors. There is no champion other than "the man who beat the man". It is the indelible honor of those who strive to overcome all obstacles, who are intimidated by no one, and are willing to fight, endure, persevere and lead.

:TU:

That & Leonard only needs 1 more defence to join in on the fun anyway. His manager avoided undefeated Sanchez earlier in the season, as he ''hadn't proved enough.'' And he has mooted that he will not be joining Crease on the Luxenbourg federation if it isn't legit. Degeneration should also be aware that every time the belt has been formed by dropping belts; its relevance has been highly tainted.

Crease get over it, the fight has already been signed. Marciano is an imposter!!!
