Strange how he's now so keen to fight Maidana when he was accused of ducking him just a few months ago ?

Havn't seen the fight yet but from what i hear he didn't look overly great vs corley, however i still can't see khan being able to live with him for 12rounds, i imagine against khan he will lay everything on the line and just go bat shit crazy on khan from the first bell.

I haven't seen the Corley fight yet, bit I just watched the Ortiz fight again and just don't get the hype round Maidana. He was so wild and easily hit, being dropped the 3 times. Sure he's got power but what good is it if you're being kept on the end of Khan's jab while he moves in and out pot shotting you? Maidana might get lucky and land flush but I think he's one of those guys hyped to hell by the American media - a la Jeff Lacey, that once he's beaten they'll all turn on him and say he was nothing to begin with.

Agree mostly, as I just watched the vs.Ortiz again, Maidana is overrated but I just cannot see Khan not getting tagged in this and that's good night Vienna Mr.Khan.
