I dont think DeGale was a let down it never really got started, Jennings-Brook was a slight let-down started of good technically and looked like it was about to get more untresting and Jennings got cut, should be a rematch imolefty wrote:Yeah i agree.leforge wrote:Macklin fight was a let down so was degale but the other 5 were very enjoyable.Srebmun wrote:Great nights entertainment.
Re: Magnificent Seven PBP/Discussion
Cleverly the star of the show then followed by kocency then chisora then brook then degale thenmacklin then frenkel! Enzo was winning that. But does he vulnerability pit the haye result into perspective!alexpaterson wrote:I dont think DeGale was a let down it never really got started, Jennings-Brook was a slight let-down started of good technically and looked like it was about to get more untresting and Jennings got cut, should be a rematch imolefty wrote:Yeah i agree.leforge wrote: Macklin fight was a let down so was degale but the other 5 were very enjoyable.
Re: Magnificent Seven PBP/Discussion
Chisora fight was the most entertaining and balanced for me.
Enzo's was the most shocking.
Macklin, was the most dissapointing. But naturally I suppose he was deflated.

Huck, Abraham and Slyvester were all hanging around, I would guess SS and Huck were eyeing up a potential challenger? AA was being interviewed to the German channel broadcasting, he seemed a really nice guy - even took a fan's phone to say hi to their friend.

Re: Magnificent Seven PBP/Discussion
I thought DeGale looked the brightest of the new crop, coming on a lot faster than Frankie Gavin who wasn't really as convincing as i'd hoped at this stage..Cleverley looked great at times but naive in places and definitely is work in progress, and Brook couldn't really work Jennings out and we didn't learn much about him from that fight as Mick was only just starting to feel his way into it after using his movement to stay elusive and frustrating early on.

I disagree,i think frankie is better than degale and also degales fight tonight wasnt really a fight!Carl didnt really turn up!goldenears wrote:I thought DeGale looked the brightest of the new crop, coming on a lot faster than Frankie Gavin who wasn't really as convincing as i'd hoped at this stage..Cleverley looked great at times but naive in places and definitely is work in progress, and Brook couldn't really work Jennings out and we didn't learn much about him from that fight as Mick was only just starting to feel his way into it after using his movement to stay elusive and frustrating early on.

Re: Magnificent Seven PBP/Discussion
Mr Bellew will say the same thing no doubt! But just looking at tonights performances and the progressions fight to fight, it feels like DeGale is moving quicker than Frankie who just didn't really come totally to life tonight for me. I'm sure he's got more to come, the lads who work with him every day seem to rave about him and obviously they know him and their boxing way more than i do (lefty wrote:I disagree,i think frankie is better than degale and also degales fight tonight wasnt really a fight!Carl didnt really turn up!goldenears wrote:I thought DeGale looked the brightest of the new crop, coming on a lot faster than Frankie Gavin who wasn't really as convincing as i'd hoped at this stage..Cleverley looked great at times but naive in places and definitely is work in progress, and Brook couldn't really work Jennings out and we didn't learn much about him from that fight as Mick was only just starting to feel his way into it after using his movement to stay elusive and frustrating early on.
