Depends if it's a clean offer.

In other words, without signing up for options on 3 fights if he takes Degale on or whatever.

Surely this fight is in two years time, and this is just mutual publicity

well, its unlike FW to publically say he wants it...so, as already noted, if the offer is clean, then lets see them matched up for groves c'wealth title.

does degale think he is better looking than groves??

DeGale 21 pro rounds. Groves 43 pro rounds.

Do we need to see them in 90/10 fights? or just get it on and decide who is the best of the two.

Degale/Groves/Smigga/Froch Not a bad SM we have there, and a lot of the top boys are getting on a bit.

I can't see it happening. If Warren wanted options on Magee for a fight with Smith, I can't believe he won't for one of his golen geese. I think this will be another fight that is hyped but won't happen for some time with each side saying the other is doing the ducking. Personally I think that Degale should be looking at someone like Dodson or Quigley. Either of those would be good learning fights, but very winnable.

Totally agree with you there.. Warren usaually beats round the bush but last night he said he wanted Grooves... I watched Grooves on Youtube calling out the best Super Middle Weights now hes got his chance, lets do it... :bag:
As for who will win?? i dont really know, DeGale looked good last night where as Grooves has looked good in most of his fights...If i was pushed for a winner, ad go Grooves... :box:

groves is fighting late october so is this a realistic offer? NO, just warren trying to make out that they want the fight when in all reality i dont think they do. when groves offered degale to fight him in april warren said there is no point in this fight happening for another 18 months. If they do want the fight then no wonder, groves will only have about 5 weeks to prepare after his next fight! and warren will want options i bet and if groves turns it down fwank and chunky will say he is ducking him... typical warren

This fight shouldnt happen yet - its great for us but bad for british boxing, 2 fighters with the potential to make an impact on the world scene would be better off making it to the top before fighting. They could be the next Eubank and Benn.

Not a chance they'll fight anytime soon. That offer will not be sincere, nothing will come of it. Its all about building hype now and getting people talking. Its typical Warren tactics. This fight is at least 18 months away, if not 2 years!

PS. Groves to win in style!
