Williams Vs Martinez signed for Nov 20th

Post by Short-Left-Hook »

Hi guys,

Just read that Williams is due to face Martinez on the 20th of November. To be fought at a catchweight of 157lbs.

Great fight in my eyes, My prediction being a Williams win by mid-rounds stoppage.

What do you think? :TU:

I think "The Secret" gets his revenge by knocking Martinez out before going on to rule the division for years. It'll be great for him to finally fulfil his potential

I actually think Martinez stops Williams mid rounds this time. Martinez proved in the last fight he has the power to genuinley hurt Williams. I think that Martinez will be fighting with extra confidence and will win the fight.

Agree with Lenny, Richard is fortunate to get the shot but with that Samuels victory behind him, I think he can do it this time.

I just think Williams has the edge being that he's an awkward fighter who has freakishly long Jab. I can just see him working his jab keeping martinez at length eventually taking advantage of Martinez inevitable frustration and wild swings.

hope martinez wipes this octopus off the big stage for some time.

how ridiculous, the champ, who's gone from fighting williams to pavlik to williams again, who took all those risks, having to compromise with the weight.
