I had a vivid dream about the Ryder cup last week, there is nothing weird at all! Well, there may be but we are not alone lol
Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
I ashamed to say my dream last night concerned Cheryl Cole myself and a jar of honey.

Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
looking forward to seeing crolla fight, after looking good vs brodie. crolla seems to be a very correct fighter.
seems a tough learning curve, morris and if successful a sykes revenge match. crolla-sykes 1 was supposed to be really good, so a rematch could be an excellent british title headliner.
if crolla can win these 2 very hard fights, full credit to him. he doesn't seem to be a real puncher, so this could be two gruelling 12 rounders. if he wins a british title, he'll have paid his dues.

Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
I think Crolla will win - seems a really sensible down to earth guy.
Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
Morris for me, bit too smooth.
Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
i'm going with crolla. i think he's improved and i think he's bigger, with better punching technique than morris. crolla just seems to throw the straighter and sharper blows. i believe he'll win a hard, exciting fight.
maye being optimistic but i fancy crolla in a sykes rematch as well.
two very good fights and if he wins that's a hard earned british championship.

theres been word on the street today that jon kays is going to get a shot at sykes before the winner of this fight..Autobarn wrote:looking forward to seeing crolla fight, after looking good vs brodie. crolla seems to be a very correct fighter.

Yeah...it isn't down as an eliminator....thinks it's more unofficial...in the end, how are you going to stop the winner getting a shot??
Did we work out if Kays struggled against Dai Davies?

Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
kays did not struggle against davies infact looking at it again kays boxed his ears off and also showed that power that everyone thought he lacked.. i remember seeing a post from kevin maree on saturday stating that he thought jon would hold his own aginst anyone in his domestic division and i totally agree..thepocketrocket wrote:Yeah...it isn't down as an eliminator....thinks it's more unofficial...in the end, how are you going to stop the winner getting a shot??

Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
Crolla all day long Morris hasn't been the same since Simpson
Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
some feel morris has got stronger going up in weight (or less drained), can fight with a better engine and he has his supporters who feel he beat sykes.
good british title scene. whoever wins, morris or sykes, they are likely to match up well and they match extremely well with sykes.
also, let's not forget on that same show there's foster jr and kirakosyan. foster surprised many with how well he did vs arthur in that tremendous fight a while back.
any chance any of these guys could get a shot at ricky burns, if they keep winning and looking good?

what's kays like? - not seen him fight.Adam1991 wrote:theres been word on the street today that jon kays is going to get a shot at sykes before the winner of this fight..Autobarn wrote:looking forward to seeing crolla fight, after looking good vs brodie. crolla seems to be a very correct fighter.

things at 130 are hotting up at the moment, a bit.
Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
Crolla is improving all the time....he is definitely the dark horse at super feather imo
Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
Kays has got good solid boxing skills and is one of the fittest lads i have ever seen, like you said things at 130 are looking very tasty..Autobarn wrote:what's kays like? - not seen him fight.Adam1991 wrote:theres been word on the street today that jon kays is going to get a shot at sykes before the winner of this fight..Autobarn wrote:looking forward to seeing crolla fight, after looking good vs brodie. crolla seems to be a very correct fighter.

Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
morris for me on this one no both lads very well so im on the fence but if i had to put my last pound on this fight i wud say morris points or stoppage , hes very slik
Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
i agree about crolla improving. from what little footage i saw, he's looking better technically than the british champ.
definitely some fit lads at 130. as we saw in that punch marathon between sykes and morris. and obviously ricky burns, who won that gruelling 12 rounder with roman martinez for the WBO title.
can/will buckland get down to super feather? would he compromise his workrate coming down in weight? another fighter who throws loads of shots.

Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
so hatton keeps his promoter's licence - crucially.
did anyone think ricky would lose his promoter's licence given he's got an impressive show on, meaningful domestic and european matchups, with a TV date, in just over a week?

Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
I was one who thought Morris won against Sykes, although it was close. If Crolla can get the better of Morris, it will be a massive win and boost his carear. If Morris win's this should set up a Sykes re-match for me.Autobarn wrote:some feel morris has got stronger going up in weight (or less drained), can fight with a better engine and he has his supporters who feel he beat sykes.

definitely good fights, whoever wins.
morris v sykes was hard to score, definitely.
i enjoyed the last round. sykes insturcted to "hit anyting", fighting with his head down hitting air, hitting morris' head, body, arms, shoulders.

Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
Hope Crolla does it realy genuine good lad
Re: Interview with Anthony Crolla...does he beat Morris??
thought morris beat sykes & back him to do crolla. but styles make fight's & one man's meat is another man's poison & all that.
