I wonder how much he told Green? If Green had hit him with a hard punch Briggs could have died.

Sad reading. Briggs was a walking time-bomb and led punters down the garden path!

But again people in the know should have spoken up and we were very lucky that he didn't die in the ring, as if he did the sport would have never recovered, once the circumstances came out.

Just goes to show what a dog Billy husein is - to let a boxer in the state Briggs was in get in the ring with Danny Green is criminal.
Hope he does not get a cent

Sounds again like Brigg's courage as a fighter was his downfall. Hope all the best for him in the future.

Agree with the Billy Hussein comment.

Briggs had a brain bleed and saw a natruropath to correct it? Huh? Is he crazy? What did she do, give him some magic drink to clear it up? And then he fought again. I don't know who was willing to re-license him, but they shouldn't have.

The ironic part to the story was that Ademek 1 gave him the injury, and he went back for more in Ademek 2......ballsy or stupid?

I'm a fan always have been, always will be, but the truth is that explanation didn't really help his current credability, it still means he entered the fight knowing he was going to lose, it pretty much was a decision to collect a cheque, with disregard to his health, family and the sport that made him known around the world.

A bleed is neither as uncommon, nor career threatening as one may imagine. In fact 'Bleads' are the reason why good trainers and good mates should make sure there charge/friend doesn't drink for 48 hours after they've fought.

''They have told me my brain looks like it's been in consecutive car crashes every day for the last eight years.''
That MUST be an exaggeration.

i dunno about that . it doesnt sound like he intended to take the public for a ride. i think in his mind he realy thought that he had at least a reasonable chance, a punchers chance.

was just talking to paul (on a completely different subject) and although i dont know him from a bar of soap he didnt sound like that kinda guy ,
