No responsible GP would prescribe an Alcoholic diazepam whilst they were drinking,it is an absolutely lethal combination and i know a lot of guys who have ended up in prison because of it.Chlordiazepoxide is the drug of choice when treating an alcohol withdrawal.Doctors are reluctant to start anyone off on Diazepam and only really give it out to those who have been on it years.Whilst drinking the only medication you would get is Thiamin and Vitamin B complex.
