A few need updated

Post by MattMan1998 »

I was checking the WBO website and they list the records of the boxers they have ranked. While there will obviously be differences I noticed a few that were very different. Can anyone update these? Thanks.

Kaichon Sor Vorapin, Ranked #2 in the Junior Flyweight division by the WBO, Boxrec has a record of 13-7 the WBO website says 23-5.

Rexon Flores, Ranked #6 in the Flyweight divison by the WBO, Boxrec has a record of 6-0 the WBO website says 12-2-3.

Dione Rodriguez, Ranked #11 in the Super Featherweight division by the WBO, Boxrec has a record of 7-0 the WBO website says 16-0.

I found one small update to Kaichon Sor Vorapin's record, this gets us a little closer to his stated record.

On July 8, 2002 in Bangkok, Thailand. He beat Samunprai Sabuyokogym By a 6 round points decision.

Please add this to his record. Thanks.

correction: jun aballe is actually correctly spelled jun ebale as is seen on boxrec....rey danseco is probably the philippine author who screwed the spelling of this boxers last name in one of his result articles....he always screws up the names of filipino boxers causing boxrec to have multiple names and spellings for one fighter.

I have been following Filipino boxing in particular for about 6 years and have pretty accurate record info and games and amusement board rankings for the philippines. I updated my records for rexon flores thanks to your info. The orly alto fighter doesn't sound familar. How did you come across the info for those two fights involving Rexon Flores?

According to Boxrec, Rexon Flores fought on SEPT.26 2002 AND 2003 against Larry Mede. On October 12, 2002 in La Trinidad, Benguet, Philippines Larry Mede of Baguio City, Philippines defeated PTS.8 Rexon Flores.

On Sept. 26, 2003 - the result in boxrec is correct as Rexon Flores defeated Larry Mede on the undercard of Malcolm Tunacao vs. Ringo Jaguar

Rexon Flores made his pro debut April 2001 in a technical decision loss (vs. unknown?)

His current record is (13-2-2, 7ko)

The Rexon Flores - Jerry Pahayahay bout on May 21, 2004 was a SD 10 victory for flores. The fight was shown on Samsung's Fistorama TV on the undercard of Gerry Penalosa vs. Robert Dalisay. The result in boxrec shows only a SD with no reference to the amount of rounds in the fight.
