some people are clueless on here :!:
1) by the time del has twice as many fight's & really expierianced they'll be retired, plus he'd still get beat.
2) if he does allright he'll be commended & noticed on a world wide basis
3)& has plenty of time to come again.

I think you're wrong,if chisora lost to the klitschkos he would lose some of his marketability particularily on the world scene. He'd be seen as just another bum who the boring klitschko brothers beat up!Thats how the american boxing public would view that!P.s not just that but if he got bashed up by Wlad he might not be the same fighter ever again both physically and mentally!hurlock wrote:some people are clueless on here :!:

I'm not sure about the opponents, but I've read that Wlad gets more than 10m € per fight.black panther wrote:I would of thought way more than that mate. Vlad would smack f*ck out of him for a bit, possibly hurt him, and for what?? 50 grand in the bank, 60? 70?.........I'm starting to talk myself into it a bit nowwhatashambles wrote: Not a chance, Wlad will pound him![]()
He could go down after 5 minutes (if he gets that far) but how many mens' prides would allow them to do that? Mine wouldn't.
Seriously.....Derek Chisora would stand zero chance in this fight, not even a punchers chance.
Vladimir's got a fcking Phd AND he's a World Champ.......men like that don't fck about.
Re: Chisora offered Vladimir!
Chisora would make a lot more than 50k for fighting Wlad. He would likely get at least 500k and possibly up to the low 1 million range. If I were him I would take the opportunity. I see Chisora falling short against the best at world level no matter how much experience he has. Might as well get a great pay day fighting the best HW on the planet.
Re: Chisora offered Vladimir!
when u put it like that he has to take it. It's a job at the end of the day. He'd earn every penny and get a pasting but for a few hundred grand.....maybe a million.....can u imagine the 2nd hand antiques he could buy with that??!
Vlad will spend the first 3 rounds just looking at him.....he could have a very respectable go at it....try to box.....try to bomb him out when that doesn't work....then try to lose without getting smashed to shit (dangerous against someone like that).
I imagine Vlad will hit him harder than he's ever been hit before.........personally I'd jump right on him like Corrie Sanders did and if that came off his next payday would be huge!

Re: Chisora offered Vladimir!
Adamek wants to fight before the end of the year and he's lined up Vinnie Maddalone which is fairly unexcusable even though he likes to stay very busy. I'm sure he'd drop Vinnie like a bad habit as soon as he knows that Wlad becomes an option.
The Klits have almost entirely cleaned up the division and are having to repeat themselves (Wlad v Peter II) but i'd be shocked to see them stooping to so many levels beneath their own. I can't believe this report.

Who beats him in Britain apart from Haye?tsmithy50 wrote:Whats the alternative to get beat by somebody at british or european level? He's really nothing special so should take the oppotunity while its there.
Just beat Sexton, he would have too much for any other British Heavy

Re: Chisora offered Vladimir!
I think he probably beats Tyson Fury but it wouldn't be much of a shock if Fury beat him (There both pretty average) Harrison would be a good fight, guess he beats him aswell but again no shock if one average heavy beats another average heavy. Also not a big suprise if big Larry or Tom Dallas beat him. He'd start favourite against all of them but put it this way he's not gonna stay unbeaten for long he's simply not good enough. Haven't really seen enough of David Price or Richard Towers but he's really not that far above any of the six I've named. He's basically an up and coming British heavyweight (who lets face it has only beaten Sam Sexton and a totally shot Danny Williams who fellover very easily) and has somehow fluked a shot at the world heavyweight title... He's only just reached domestic levelMatthewS wrote:Who beats him in Britain apart from Haye?tsmithy50 wrote:Whats the alternative to get beat by somebody at british or european level? Re: Chisora offered Vladimir!
Keyword being IF he stays unbeaten. If he loses at a lower level, he may never again be offered a world title shot, which is why he should take it now. No, the circumstances are not ideal (he DOES need more experience, of course) but in this game nobody should turn down a title shot, really.sg1985 wrote:It's too soon though, there are a few good fights at British and Euro level for him, and lets be honest, they might have been hard to come by in the past, but when Wlad and Vitali retire in the next year or two the belts will be up for grabs, and if he stays unbeaten he'll be one of the first in line.hurlock wrote:chisora should jump at it :!: title fight's used to be hard to get :!: danny williams had a great run & it took him ages to get a crack.sg1985 wrote:It's too soon. Re: Chisora offered Vladimir!
Exactly. If he takes it and loses, what has he lost, besides his 0? He'll still have two regional titles to defend, enhanced name value and a bolstered bank balance. Nobody expects him to win, so he won't be worse off if he doesn't.whatashambles wrote:If he takes it and loses, he can go back to Brit level (fight Fury) then fight for the Euro if he wins and get in another fight before 2011 is out.sg1985 wrote:It's too soon though, there are a few good fights at British and Euro level for him, and lets be honest, they might have been hard to come by in the past, but when Wlad and Vitali retire in the next year or two the belts will be up for grabs, and if he stays unbeaten he'll be one of the first in line.hurlock wrote: chisora should jump at it :!: title fight's used to be hard to get :!: danny williams had a great run & it took him ages to get a crack.

Re: Chisora offered Vladimir!
If the offer is six figures he has to take this fight, no one will be expecting much from him at this stage and as previous posters have mentioned he can come back to the domestic title and then move onto the European scene.
If he should put up a spirited display his stock would go up 5 fold.
Even with the options that the Klits build into there fights Frank should be able to twist a bit more out in Chisora's favour.
Can't see how its even a possible no thanks really, he is building towards a world title, take the shot now and the cash, in five years the Klits will be gone for good and Chisora will be in his peak years.
Kick on Del

Re: Chisora offered Vladimir!
Go for it Del Boy.
Boxing is business and if he can get a crack at the World Title on homes soil after only a dozen or so fights beating domestic oppossition then good on him. It says a lot about the state of the heavyweights these days though.
He stands just as good a chance as Peter, Rahman, Thompson, Chambers, Arreola and the rest that have fought the Klits recently.
His only chance it to get straight into him and stay up close and start swinging those bombs. If he stands off Wlad, hew ill be pummeled into next week.
He`d be made not to take it. It could set him up for life.

Chisora should do it to have a go but December might be too soon. Would love to see him against Sosnowski or against a smaller Heavyweight like Adamek or Chambers if he isn't going down to Cruiser.
Re: Chisora offered Vladimir!
How true is this though? We might all be getting a little excited for no reason if there isn't actually an offer for this fight

Yeah just listened to it and I don't think it will happen either on the cash front and warren doesn't seem to think he's ready.leforge wrote:He not ready for it. I also got the impression form Frank that they offered not much cash.Vlad should fight Adamek or Solis for eff sakes!

Fair enough, he should take the fight. Only his '0' to lose and boxing has become obsessed with it. He has as good a chance as any other heavyweight out there at the minutetsmithy50 wrote:Its on Buncey's bbc london radio show I'm listening now its on the podcastJosh1111 wrote:How true is this though? Re: Chisora offered Vladimir!
I would take it as it's truly a no-lose situation. He's a novice so no one expects him to win. If he gets hammered then he can come back from it as Wlad is the no.1 heavy. And you never know - with Wlad's whiskers, Chisora could knock him out. You just never know with a chinny fighter.
Re: Chisora offered Vladimir!
He showed a lot more movement last week, than most of Wlads recent opponents, who just stood there and got jabbed to death. If the offer is there to take, and he accepts, he should go down the respectful route and not slag the Klits off like Haye has. That way, when he is on his way back down after the fight, people will respect him, rather than just laugh and say "I told you so". If he takes this, he will become our most popular fighter overnight.
