Andrey Kudriavtsev, mandatory challenger for the European Lightweight title has told Hennessy Sports “I am in an excellent shape and come to England to win the fight.”

At the moment I am at the Black sea resort training hard. I had 3 good sparring partners, fully satisfied with training process.”

“On September 25 I will have best sport conditions.” Added Andrey.

The experienced pro who has 34 wins to his name which 15 have been inside the distance has been watching footage of his opponent, Champion John Murray and said “We’ve scrutinized all weak and strong points of the opponent and will do my best to make a hard fight for him.”

Does Murray have to pay two promoter's fees from his purse then?

I can't say I'm looking forward to this. Kudriavtsev isn't the best, and if Murray is as good as I think he is then I expect John to stop him in the mid-rounds after dominating. Poor undercard, too.

murray and daniel estrada were nominated for a WBC elim, but estrada lost to someone called reyes on the morales-limond show.

re limond, seeing him fold from morales' body shots - do some ppl still want murray to defend his EBU title vs limond? i think murray has the perfect size and style to break limond down.

i think kudriavtsev is a good, experienced fighter. quite aggressive and solid, though not a puncher. his fight with mezaache was one of the better european title fights i've come across (the rematch). kudriavtsev is a decent test but like most i expect murray to break him down.

Interesting how good this Kudriavtsev in reality? He has losses so probably not that good. Murray should win this.

can't wait for this fight. feel like ordering sky sports, just for this weekend, as i like watching murray fight.

bloody hell, these murray fights creep up on you, don't they?

my fave domestic fighter by far, and i only realise he's fighting a couple of days before the fight.

a really solid EBU title fight. proper european level, and kudriavtsev could easily have got the decision in that mezaache rematch war, anywhere else other than france.

Judriavtsev will attack in the first few rounds and then be taken out around the 6th by TKO. Will be very suprised it it makes the distance. Murray should then look for a WBC eliminator or fight the winner of Mitchell vs Arthur.
