Sosnowski KO 1 Butlin

Post by funso banjo baby »

anyone seen this.

Butlin is fairly tough...this is a big blast out.

Albert Sosnowski is looking good atm...took a huge number of fights to break through but hes probably top 20 now....game showing against Klit but was just to small and slow (usual story)

however a fight with Haye would be nice... but theres lots of British options..Chisora etc

is he going to be the prizefighter entry or is he above that atm ????

Butlin floored twice in round 1. A little bit out of his depth at this level. Held his own at distance on the jab but as soon as Sosnowski got close and started landing the knockdowns came about.

Sosnowski did ok against Vitali, but i just can't see him improving enough to beat either of them. Another Euro title is well within his abilities though

I think he should fight Chisora rather than going in Prizefighter. although i do think he will win both

the matchroom have a deal with polish tv so sosnowski wont be let off the leash unless it's another world title ??

really enjoyable fighter. like his short punches which did away with butlin.

would like to see sosnowski in more sky main events - i was gutted when he withdrew from the audley fight, though it's understandable as he got a world title fight and acquitted himself well.

european title's now in germany which could make things difficult. they're not going to get dimitrenko over here. on the other hand, an EBU heavyweight title would be great to attract guys like chisora, sexton, rogan or whoever's about & ready to put up a fight.

you'd think prize fighter would be perfect for a fit, high workrate guy like sosnowski.
