Are tickets selling well (Haye)

anyone know the stage of ticket sales for the Haye Harrison fight? Will the fight be a sell out do you think.

Also im staying in travelodge in Oldham that night and according to route finder the mileage to the MEN is only 5.8 miles hope that is correct.

Any tips for night out in oldham or is the city centre from the MEN close by?

5.8 road miles is a fair distance. Are all the closer hotels booked? Maybe an indicator the night is selling.

The cheapest seats left on ticketmaster are £625, the cheaper tickets are doing batty money on ebay.

I managed to book the Copthorne in the city centre for £36 a night.....bargain

Me and my two mates got the £150 quid tickets a couple of weeks ago and booked into the Gardens Hotel which is apparently a couple of minutes from Manchester Piccadilly and was £80 for a twin room. Most of the hotels were gone even a few weeks ago so pleased to have got that one.

If it is only a bed your after give the Barrington Hotel in Altrincham a shout. Its cheap and 30 seconds to tram station.

Go out in Manchester, don't go out in Oldham. It's a poop place for a night out, and is extraordinarily violent on a weekend.

i would imagine these tickets are selling like hot cakes...if it was abit closer to me i might have been tempted to go but im not travelling all the way up north from london for a fight that probably wont last 3 rounds.....infact only fight i would travel that far for is haye against a klitschko...

Any tips for night out in oldham..?

Oldham's bristling social scene is somewhat diverse and energetic. You could soak up the atmosphere and heritage at one of the local mosques before strolling the derelict streets, taking in the lack of sights and purchasing a meal (of sorts) from one of the town's countless halal eateries. Alternatively you may choose to attend a BNP or English Defence League social, where you can sample some of the low cost, high alcohol content lagers and ciders available on tap or in (warm) cans, whilst participating in a lively discussion about the town's future prospects and general lack of ambition. Furthermore, if you happen upon the town at the right time of year you may even have the opportunity to observe one of Oldham's notorius street battles, where young men and the occasional feral female banter with youngsters of other faiths and communities before launching into acts of extreme violence fuelled by an ingrained racial hatred that is prevalent within the town. Whilst Oldham is a blissful place, if those options don't float your boat, you're probably better off staying in the hotel - ideally with the door locked and curtains closed.
