How about this for a night of heavyweight boxing?
A lot on the forum about how crap heavyweight fights are at the moment and I thought why not have this on the same night:
Haye Vs Vitali Klitschko
Harrison Vs Wladimir Klitschko
It would be a lot more interesting than whats going on and it would sell out a venue and ppv not probs.
If it turns out a decent event they could swap opponents for next time etc
Boxing would win and so would the money men! The interest for something like this would be phenomenal!
Brits vs the klitschko's
Just something for discussion......

are you serious?
it's a big enough joke that harrison is getting a pop at haye purely based on the fact he's a well known brit and it'll sell tickets.
it's a joke that haye/wlad hasn't been put together (regardless of who is to blame)
but you want audley to get a shot at the number one man in the division.
surely not?

How about Briggs (WBC) v Harrison (WBA), with the winner to meet Chisora (IBF/WBO) for the undisputed title?
All those three winning their title shots is about as likely as your scenario!

2 fights involving the Klits would be so boring I doubt I'd wake up for a week after and boxing would lose so many more fans in the process, especially if Harrison is one of the oppenents!
The world heavyweight scene will not be interesting until either one of the Klits gets beat or if at least one of them retire.

I put it for discussion because I thought it would be a lot more interesting than whats going on just now, its definately got your attention anyway no need for anyone to get wound up about it.
Re: How about this for a night of heavyweight boxing?
What almost everyone wants to see is Haye against a Klitschko. There's no other fight at heavyweight that will get mouths talking as much (besides the brothers fighting each other, which will never happen).

Re: How about this for a night of heavyweight boxing?
best pure matchup in the division is haye v adamek.
i would gladly settle for sosnowski v dimitrenko. sosnowski, former champ, was made mando.
a shot and well out of his weight jm mormeck matches up really well at the moment to american clubfighters like vinny maddalone (i'll take exciting fights where i can get 'em).
sexton's matches with rogan and chisora have been oddly exciting & i'll have more o' them please.
tua-barrett was an enjoyable draw but there won't be a rematch.
alex leapia and travis walker have unifished business after their wild 4 rounder - walker gets his rematch because of controversial stoppage.
this thread is pure fantasy. one good heavyweight fight headlines one show.promoter won't pile all the matches onto one card.
heard lance whitaker's controversial win over disappointing prospect andrey fedosov was exciting, though it could have been an enthusiastic press release masked as a fight report which said this.
can't watch that atrocious cheat-hugging wlad. he is appalling viewing and the german crowd only care when the opponent is in dire straits - they must be lacking in self esteem or something.
