Norris beat:

Quincy Taylor
Buster Drayton (around Drayton's short peak)
John Mugabi
Jorge Vaca
Rene Jacquot (see: Drayon's parenthesis)
Sugar Ray Leonard (past peak)
Donald Curry (past peak)
Carl Daniels (was a solid fighter at the time)
Meldrick Taylor (might have not been the same fighter that fought JCC, but, still a good fighter at the time)
Maurice Blocker
Paul Vaden
Vincent Pettway

Norris may have never beaten the top elite, but he beat some damn good fighters and should be recognized for it.

Thank you for listing them. But non of those fighters were anything when he fought them. u said so yourself that Leonard was past his peak along with Taylor, Mugabi had great power but he never beat anybody worth mentioning. Blocker was a nobody, so i still have to say he beat a bunch of nobody's. again thank u for taking the time to list those fights. been telling that other moron to do it and he wouldn't, thank u. and beating some good fighters dosnt mean much to me unless they were elite. Elite fighters rule the world of boxing not the simply good ones.

Trinidad beat:

Oba Carr
Luis Campas
Oscar De La Hoya
Fernando Vargas
Pernell Whitaker
Hector Camacho
William Joppy
David Reid
Ricardo Mayorga

Not all of them elite fighters some good mixed with elite n my list but non the less still better competition than Norris.

Pernell was well past his peak when Trinidad fought him.

Camacho wasn't the same fighter as he was at 135. (I'd say 140 should have been the highest he competed at).

And I don't believe Trinidad won his fight against ODLH (I scored it 7-4-1 for Oscar).

The rest are average.

I'd argue that Norris' resume is more impressive than Trinidad's (I'm not implying that Norris would have won head-to-head, just he has more quality wins than Trinidad, in my opinion).

Blocker wasn't a nobody.

He beat Pedro Vilella, then put a competitive fight against Lloyd Honeyghan, then went on to beat Marlon Starling, was winning his fight against Simon Brown before being TKO'd in the 10, and then beat Glenwood Brown. Blocker was a good fighter in his peak and in no way should he be labelled a "nobody".

WELL SORRY TO SAY BUT IF YOU ARGUE THAT NORRIS CAREER IS BETTER THAN TITOS THEN I THINK UR WRONG. AND YES BLOCKER WAS A NOBODY AND HE BEAT OTHER NOBODY'S. U CAN THINK HE HAS MORE QUALITY WINS IF U WANT (WHICH IS RIDICULOUS) HE ALSO HAS MORE LOSSES AND ALL AGAINST CHUMPS, TITO ONLY LOST TO ELITE FIGHTERS NOT SOME FRUIT CAKES. AND WEATHER U THINK TITO LOST TO DE LA HOYA OR NOT DOESN'T MATTER CUZ THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS THAT HE WON. DE LA HOYA LOST BECAUSE HE FOUGHT LIKE A CONTENDER AND NOT A CHAMPION. AND AS TO U QUEER WHEEL, HOW EXACTLY DID I DIG MY OWN GRAVE? ONCE AGAIN U HAVE YET TO PROVE ANY OF UR POINTS, AT LEAST THIS GUY GIVES GOOD ARGUMENTS, ALL U DO IS TRY TO TALK S%^T LIKE A CHILD. A LITTLE GAY ASS WHEEL CHILD :DD

That may be the case, but why do you feel the need to continually disparage other fighters to make your point?

Trinidad may have been better than Norris. Why does that make Norris a "chump"?

And respect towards a fighter doesn't amount to anything. I respect Vargas for taking ass whippings from multiple fighters and never giving up and the same with Mayorga but that doesn't make them great fighters.

I just saw Trinidad vs Campas and it was scary. This Trinidad was a murderous puncher. You could not stand in front of him and think that you are gonna win the fight. He would kill you.

Too bad they couldn't tether his opposition to the canvas, because he was completely fucken clueless when presented with movement.

Did he avoided Tito? It looked that he did to me. What are your thoughts of this? And, who would have won if Norris would have accept the match?

Tito would have won by TKO in 5. Too much power for Norris. I truly believed that.
how did it look like that to you,i think terry was not offered enough dough, when someone is offered the right type of money i dont think there will be any ducking :D
Oh yeah. But the punk wanted to fight the great Julio Cesar Chavez at any price to prove he was the best fighter in the world. He wanted to fight someone that had a 14-pound disadvantage, but when asked "How about a rematch with Julian Jackson at middleweight", did not say nothing....What a man!!!

Then, he wanted to fight the great Pernell Whitaker after Whitaker schooled Chavez. But did not want no part of Jackson, Gerald McClellan or the great Roy Jones, Jr. What a great fighter that Norris was. As soon Tito came into the scene? Did not wanted no part of him either.

Smart one u r! why anybody thinks Norris has a big chance in that fight what so ever is a retard.
