By my logic, it's likely that he's lent the car to someone who has been showing off with a mate, piled it up and they have ran off. They were later picked up by police say the local paper.

Then Naz is likely to have been pulled as the car's owner. Just a thought.
You're right. It is a 2 seater. That's a probable explanation.

One of the two men was his brother. Thats what I was thinking Ian, his brothers probably driven it. Surely eye witnesses would know if it was Naz at the scene or not.

"Excuse me sir did you see a fat asian guy with huge ears at the scene?"

He was arrested for fleeing the scene and perverting the course of justice initially. So he's probably lied at the most.

Was Naz even in the car, I wonder?????

Hypothetical situation

If you had a 315K motor and you lend it out to a mate who wasn't insured on it, and he wrapped it.... would you say you weren't driving, or you were driving? Take into consideration, the answer you give may well determine whether or not you wave goodbye to 315K...or whether you get done for dangerous driving....

I think if it was me, I'd keep my gob shut until I knew whether the bloke in the other car was going to survive.

Agree. If we're talking hypothetically and that Naz wants the best outcome for him and shove the morals, then surely he'd rather pay up for a new car rather than be imprisoned for causing severe injury to another driver. Problem is of course, if he were to try to say he were the passenger when he was the driver, I think the actual passenger might have something to say about him taking that line.

Yes, as yet there is nothing to state who was driving the car as yet, so best to give Naz the benefit of the doubt. Didn't realise it was a two-seater Ian, that's a good point. Of course the third man in question who was pulled, could be someone trying to cover for Naz....just another possibility.

No doubt. There's too many thoughtless people out there wrecking people's lives and getting away with an insignificant reprimand.

Glad to see the woman who was pushed over the edge by local young scumbags got released, by the way.

Is that the one that shot the pellet gun or whatever into the ground? Good news. Any judge in their right mind couldn't exactly pin her down as a systematic gun weilding maniac. In my humble opinion too many youngsters today are little shits, who should go and find something other than throwing sticks and stuff at pensioners, wildlife and local convienience stores.

I think that a lot of the problem is that there is too little for young people to do, especially in deprived areas where the facilities in the local communities are shite. Too many of these vast council estates got built, without any thought of what young people were going to do with themselves, and it's notable that it is in these sorts of areas where problems persist. They were seen as the future of housing, but packing 10,000 people into a small area, where there's one parade of shops, and a shitty little youth club, and a couple of pubs built into the estate isn't the way forward.

I'm not saying that everyone who lives on a council estate is some sort of scumbag, but it's definetly easier to get led astray. When I was a young teenager, and we wanted to go somewhere and get stoned, we went to Clem Atlee court estate, (anyone from West London will where we managed to find a disused lift shaft maintenance area which we turned into our smoking den. There were always loads of bored looking teenagers lurking around the estate, and there was always loads of trouble.

I think there's also a lot less respect for authority today, and back in my day (god I'm old), you wouldn't really expect to get cheeky with grown men and get away with it, and certainly nobody I knew set upon pensioners, that has changed somewhat, and there seems to be more of a violent streak in people below a certain age, not sure why though.

It's perceived to be more dangerous times we live in, but to be honest it is hard to tell whether it really is or not.

The fact is that rich areas are very well policed, and rich people have gates, burglar alarms and overall better security which makes them harder to rob. Crime thrives in poverty stricken areas, always has.

I do believe though, that if someone comes into my house trying to rob me, I have the right to kick the fornicate out of them and beat them to death if I believe I am in fear of my life. You break into someone's house, you should realise the possible consequences.

Some of the blame has to rest with the parents. Half of them are probably in said pubs on the estate getting leathered while the kids run riot.

Bring back the birch.

I reckon at least some of that has to do with the fact that teachers are so powerless these days. They, after all, are the adults you see most sfter your parents. My mates a teacher at what is probably the 2nd or 3rd worst school in the city, and I've heard some proper horror stories. Thing is, when he did a week at another school it was a different story - the kids had it drummed into them by their parents that you listened when an adult spoke.

I was chatting to my cousin last night, who works as a boat fitter, and he was telling me how there's a lot of kids who are getting rude awakenings when they get out in the real world. He told me that whenever he gets lip from an apprentice he basically tells them that they aren't school kids anymore, and if they are going to talk shit to a grown man, they better be prepared to take a man's consequences. The sensible ones shut up, the stupider ones get a few slaps.
