Any plans for a C Woodhouse - N Smedly fight?

Post by big lennox »

This would make for a good bout, I'd have thought.Curtis is getting better and better, and Smedley has a lot of talent and is fighting again, which is a good thing. They could sell a lot of tickets between them, so I was wondering if there has been any discussions on this?

He gave Khan big trouble as an amateur... i think Eric Guy covered it.

Smedley can be something if he gets his head on right.

Chris Smedley in my view is a top man - you are a spineless **** who hides behind the anominity of his screen name!!! :TU:

Now do you want to be exposed for who you are - or will the lawyers be threatened??

Yep, it's a fight this fan wants to see, it's been hyped well so far. Dec 11 would be a cracking show to put it on too.

Chris Smedley is indeed a top man. A real character. Andhim and Nicky keep monkeys - eight according to the Sheffield Star.

His lads helped out the day the ABAE office was officially opened by Richard Caborn, the Minister for Sport at that time, in Sheffield (his gym is in the bus garage near the EIS). He showed everyone who would watch the video of Nicky against Amir Khan as amateurs, and Nicky was well robbed.

Keep saying it and yep its Nick Smedley's biggest battle - if he can find that self discipline to buckle down he could be a special talent - even now and even after various problems - the lad could make it - IF HE WANTS TO!!!

In a recent thread, Smedley questioned Curtis Woodhouse's courage and claimed his son was boxing for a title in October.

Having not met him, I am unable to claim he is a top man or not. However, both those statements are open to questioning.

i would just like to state a few things 1st ,beagle boy i know who u are and i cant unerstand y you have the little digs,2nd nicki was going to fight on the jersy bill for a title, but he was walkin his dogs on the fields when a druggies needle went through his trainer and into his foot,he went straight to the docs but could not get tested straight away,he was trying to focus on training but i could see he was not totally focused with this on his mind, any way after time he got the tests done and got the results on friday which i am relieved to say came back negative, but as soon as i felt he wasnt 100% focused i made a desicion to pull him off until we got all this cleared up,that is the only reason,When Nicki boxed khan he did not get robbed in my opinion<but it was a good fight against a 86 bouter only losing 5 at that time and nicki only had 9 fights but Amir won in my eyes but a closer fight than what the score was,and when he decides to start training again i will ask mark willie to work on nickies conditioning and we just might have something then

For questioning whether Smedley was boxing for a title this month I receive all this abuse. Most uncecessary when Dennis Hobson claims he's washed his hands of him.
