Re: Kell Brook & Jamie Cox???
Cox is definitely not ready for Brook. In fact I do not think he will ever be ready.
Re: Kell Brook & Jamie Cox???
anyone no how long hes suspended for?
Re: Kell Brook & Jamie Cox???
Cox clearly wants this fight to happen sooner or later...he has posted various videos on you tube requesting Kell to fight him. I'd like to see the fight but maybe when Cox has had a few more fights under his belt.
Re: Kell Brook & Jamie Cox???
Judging on what I've seen of Cox in his most recent fights, I think Kell would destroy him.

Re: Kell Brook & Jamie Cox???
cox has talent but his defence is terrible, brook would smash him imo.
Re: Kell Brook & Jamie Cox???
Indeed, he does have power and potential. However, Cox needs to utilise his boxing skills rather than always throwing bombs and going for a knockout. He does possess the skills and has great amateur pedigree but seems overly eager to get a knockout in every fight.Frankie Gavin wrote:Cox is going up to light middle was in gym with him Monday his a good fighter one of the hardest punchers I have sparred always keep u on ur toes an if he keeps his head he can go along way very good IMO
Re: Kell Brook & Jamie Cox???
My thoughts are Cox is definately one to watch, and after a few more fights I think this would be a tasty match to watch. Don't think that Cox should be underestimated here, even by the likes of Kell Brook.

Re: Kell Brook & Jamie Cox???
Brook divides my opinion and personally i'm not sold on him yet. I thought we'd learn abit more from the jennings fight but i dont think we really did with the early stoppage. Will he finally get a world class fighter in his next fight? with all this talk of mike jones, personally I reckon he really needs to step up in his next fight!
On the Jamie Cox issue I think Cox may give Brook problems with his pressure and being the first opponent of Brook that actually has power. It would probably be something of a shock to him. Whether Cox has it about him to win I don't know but I do know it would prove something about Brook. I'd like to see it.

kell has power too and gets his best shots off when opponents come on to him,I think kell has too much skill and ring craft for coxRHOOK wrote:Brook divides my opinion and personally i'm not sold on him yet. Re: Kell Brook & Jamie Cox???
cox is wreckles ,kell would exploit this and ko him in quick time.
Re: Kell Brook & Jamie Cox???
I don't think Cox is ready, as above, not sure he ever will be. Seems to fight 'angry' too much. Seen two or three of his fights where he looked like he was losing his temper in there. Brook may have looked less than great against Jennings, but who's going to look good against Jennings? On the other hand Cox has looked less than convincing against opponents a helluva lot further down than Jennings.
Brook's past this level in my opinion.

Re: Kell Brook & Jamie Cox???
There would be no point in Brook taking this fight. He is past this level now and Cox still has more fights to get up to that level. Although it could be a clasic.
