I'm Doing An Interview With Roy Jones Jnr
In a couple of weeks time, any questions the forum would like me to use?

Why doesn't he retire for good? Surely the Danny Green pasting should have taught him that.

I like to know how he rates Calzaghe in retrospect. We know both fighters weren't at their best, but that Jones had declined more than Calzaghe. I'd like to know how well matched they would have been 5-10 years before and what the outcome would have been

What reforms would you like to have introduced in Boxing?
Re: I'm Doing An Interview With Roy Jone Jnr
wow good luck! I had a few questions pleaseHagler2002 wrote:In a couple of weeks time, any questions the forum would like me to use?
Q1) What does Roy think of and how does he think he would fare against the fab four (duran,SRL, Hearns,Hagler)
Q2) Well he get revenge on Danny Green?
Q3) Did he ever have to do specific exercises for his speed or is it god given as i suspect. At age 41 how does he continue to have lightning fast hands perhaps the quickest in the business above 154.
Re: I'm Doing An Interview With Roy Jone Jnr
why didnt he take the sport as serious when he was at the top. i.e participating in basketball matches for that semi pro side.& was it because he was becoming bored of winning & achieving .
& does he regret bulking up & dropping his body back down depleting all his athletism & does he carry on for redemption???

Re: I'm Doing An Interview With Roy Jone Jnr
if he had fought lennox what round would he have got ko'd in
Re: I'm Doing An Interview With Roy Jone Jnr
Who does he think will win between Bernard Hopkins and Jean Pascal, and by what method?
Re: I'm Doing An Interview With Roy Jone Jnr
Q1) Hows the hand?
Q2) What drives you to continue to fight at the age of 41? Surely you have nothing left to achieve.
Q3) After what fight did you, in your opinion, start to decline from being at the top? (subtle)
(When did you start to realize you were shot?)
Q4) Green 2? I think there is interest in this.

Is it true that you were so affected by what happened to Gerald McLellan that it actally stopped you taking tougher fights?

Good luck in understanding him. He has a strange accent.
Ask him what he classed as his best win.
Who does he rate as the best pound for pound fighter of the last decade.

Ask him if he thinks it's possible for Liverpool to stay up this season.

I recall Clinton Woods goin over there around 2000 (ish), rsf 6 I believe, and the fight taking place in Oregon and I thought they said it was Jones' home state....if that ain't the case then my mistake. Winky Wright's from Florida too.....and Mickey MouseMachoMan09 wrote:He's the one from Florida (pretty much - less Washington State - the diagonal opposite of the entire country to Oregon). Oh and it's 'steers' as in the bovine sort not 'sneers'.NorthEastBoxingFan wrote:must be in Blackpool is it?? I would ask him to give a comprehensive overview of his training regime when he was at the top of his game.
I would also ask him who he thought the all time greatest p4p fighter was.
and finally...
What is his take on a prime Michaelczewski and does he have any regrets about that fight not occuring?

Ward's not as fast as Dirrell or Jones Jr. I'm not sure who is faster between Dirrel and Jones, though. Probably Dirrell at this stage, but I haven't compared any footage.lefty wrote:i think andre ward and andre dirrell would have something to say about the handspeed!mugabi wrote:wow good luck!
