Toney is not a natural LHW. Foster hits extremely hard & Toney's trash talk would not help him, rather hinder him in fact.

Toney is good, but Foster is too good for Toney! Late TKO win for The Sheriff!

You really think Foster could pull off a KO win?

Throughout his career Toney had problems against quality guys with good jabs who could move, and while Foster is most noted for his enormous power, he also had an excellent jab. It's hard to see anything other than a pretty decisive dec for Foster in this one.

I do. The punches that stopped Dick Tiger and Mike Quarry could stop any human being.

Foster wins. Possible late KO if it's over 15. Otherwise a wide decision.

I like James Toney, but for whatever reason James Toney at Light Heavyweight was thoroughly unimpressive, that being said. I can't see him beating at ATG like Bob Foster. Toney was at his worst as a Light Heavyweight.

You could use a non-weight-drained SMW or MW version of Toney for this matchup instead. It's what I would do. Toney was only crap at LHW because he was shifting too much damn water and not training like he should.
