Ashes Boxing card in Sydney Jan 5th

Apparently there will be a Ashes boxing card held in Sydney on Jan the 5th, which will coincide with the Ashes New years test.

Australian fighter Robert Medley will headline the card and fights at LT middle/ Middle.
On October 31 Australia will host 2 IBF eliminators and on that undercard 2 other fighters are having an eliminater to make the ashes squad Taliepai vs Taylor, who either fight at Middle/Super Middle.

I think the concept is enormous for the sport here in Australia, as it isn't 1 of our main stream sports, but Blood and guts with England in the opposite corner with an Aussie in the other corner would get people very excited.

I think it sounds brilliant, maybe they could have a few commonwealth titles on the line aswell. Any news on who the english will be sending over? It would be great for a young boxer from England to box in sydney. Have you got a link for the press release?
