He was in the corner with Maurice Coore on Saturday helping out Foster Junior. Looked like he's still about 11 stone and as fresh faced as ever.

I think he's tied in some way to larches ABC in preston- think his son boxed there? Burke was class- he used to take me over to the Pheonix to train. Amazing experience as a young lad.MachoMan09 wrote:While we're on with the Phil Martin/Billy Graham crew, what is Paul Burke up to? I know he was training keep-fitters (Physique Gym, Preston) a few years back. Is he still involved in that game, or what?

I noticed that, he looked pretty trim. Apparently walks round at his old walking around weight (12/half stone)ed robinson wrote:He was in the corner with Maurice Coore on Saturday helping out Foster Junior. Looked like he's still about 11 stone and as fresh faced as ever.
I know he went inside for a bit (?), I thought he'd be gone for a while given the charges.

Not sure, really good guy though- really inspired me as a youngster. Three time Commonwealth champion- not a bad little CVMachoMan09 wrote:He's got about 500 kids, hasn't he? Well divide that by one hundred and you're about there. it is probably Liam who boxes at Larches.Jeff Thomas wrote:I think he's tied in some way to larches ABC in preston- think his son boxed there? Thanks, I couldn't find anything that followed up the story but a vague recollection of something in BN about it.
