One last question - Do you have a laugh (or discussion) with Howard Daley on here about you beating him?

no i dont really i spoke to him after our fight and i warned him then about keeping to the lower levels of the game until he learned the trade but hes just too game for hes own good(well he was i hope he has learned now though) he deserves as much infact more respect than the top fighters like frankie gavin swifty smithy bellow all of them that come on here in my eyes because they all have a god given talent where as the only real talent howard has is hes gameness yet he would fight king kong at a drop of a hat much is said on here about how good and game some journeymen are yet i look at there records and i dont see that many where in the last round when all is lost they would still go hammer n tongs to try and get the win even if it meant getting knocked out but he did. and if he does get a couple of decent results under hes belt and maybe get to fight for a masters/area title i will go and watch him beacause he really has lived hes dream.
p.s even if he is a dirty good for nothing vile piece of s... pig

IBA shows at the tavern are always well attended whenever I've been. It's much more of a piss-up with attendant boxing, put it that way.

As for the mismatches, it goes a bit like this: sell 20 tickets, get whoever they can get/afford/be bothered to find. Sell 100 tickets, you'll win every time you fight if you can get 100 tickets sold every couple of weeks. Sell 500 tickets and not only will you win every time but at some point you might fight another '500-seller' for a spurious 'title'.

last show at the Tavern i went to, the only home fighter not to win was this 40-something who looked like he only popped out to get the Radio Times and by some horrible accident ended up in a boxing ring. Game but battered.

I'll hold you to that Billy, anything to shift an extra ticket I have definately learned my lesson about fighting King Kong and Godzilla at the drop of a hat. I'll be building myself up gradually like I should have done after I fought you and you said I should. I'm in Boxing news tomorrow by the way, they rang me up earlier this week to do a piece on me getting my licence back. Something for the scrap book eh, still living the dream mate.
