Calzaghe betting

Post by jomothepure »

Those fancying another stoppage should go with blue sq, who offer the best odds for the later rounds. 16/1 in 6 up to 33/1 in 12. (altho Coral and skybet are offering best odds for a repeat of the 1st round KO - 12/1)

Best points win is 5/1 with Stanley and bet365.

Calzaghe 1/6 outright.

Veit around 100/1 to win in any round for the sadists amongst you.

i hope joe knocks him into next week...but if he doesn't and it goes to the cards anything could happen (imho).

every write up i've read this week about the fight has said that joe has to knock him out and not risk going to the cards......that says it all about boxing in germany

I think it's a pretty safe bet, but then it ain't my money. You're better off betting on rounds though than sticking it on the pure win.

Old gambling saying my son...if you've got the eight hundred, you probably don't need the one that much. 8)

I put 50 at 8/11 for over 4.5 rounds (ie goes further than half way through round 5).

Won - but wasn't as safe as I thought.

You get good over/under betting at bet365.com.

Also won money on over 10.5 rounds on Polo - Marquez.

Bit late now but I did that over/under thing at Bet365. Looked at it Thursday and the over/under was 4.5 rounds, then it went up to 5.5 rounds Friday.

Bet365 tend to take bets on all the fights, and their odds don't seem too bad compared to the competition (or at least what I've seen of it).

The one thing about Bet365 is thay have canny oddsmakers - they know what they are doing.

You are more likely to find attractive individual odds at other bookies like Blue Sq, Skybet - but the thing is about BEt365 is that they offer bets on many more figts and the over / under which is a good route to make money on.

The other good bookies for boxing is http://www.gamebookers.com
THey offer loads of different bet including if a decision is a majority or Split decision etc...
