Be a shocker if RJJ can understand a Geordie
Your right, it could be utter carnage with the pair of us sitting there with not a clue of what's been said

Some good stuff posted so far on the thread which will be getting used.

It will be really good if you can get a frank and honest interview from Roy - he seems so dellusional. He has very rarely admitted that he isn't at his best - applauding every guy who has beaten him by saying they would have given him a tough fight in his pomp.

I would like to know why didn't he move up to Cruiserweight after either of the first two (close scare and decisive KO defeat) Tarver fights and also would he contimplate a move up beyond Light Heavy now.

1. Did getting robbed of the Olympic Gold have any effects on his early years as a pro?
2. Why did he split with his Dad as trainer and what did Merkerson bring that was different?
3. Why did he struggle with Montell Griffin in the first fight yet wasted him in their 2nd fight?
4. What was it about Tarver's style that troubled him? He struggled with it in the ams too, so can't blame weight draining.
5. Why didn't he give Glen Johnson a re-match?
6. Why did he wait so long to give B-Hop a rematch?
7. What does he consider his best performance to be?

Always wondered that too. HW always looked too much of a gamble beyond the cherry-picked one-off, and getting back down to LHW was evidently to his detriment, so CW always looked blindingly obvious to me.

wow good luck! I had a few questions please

Q1) What does Roy think of and how does he think he would fare against the fab four (duran,SRL, Hearns,Hagler)

Q2) Well he get revenge on Danny Green?

Q3) Did he ever have to do specific exercises for his speed or is it god given as i suspect. At age 41 how does he continue to have lightning fast hands perhaps the quickest in the business above 154.
i think andre ward and andre dirrell would have something to say about the handspeed!
Andre Wards hands are slow!!!!!! Dirrel is quick but his straight punches are quick. Roy has the fastest hooks in the world still above 154

If he wants to be candid, and with his career pretty much over.... ask him about the Richard Hall fight and what happened with the drugs test.

Ask Roy, what fight he would use as an example of his gifts, when he is rated against other all time greats.

And, what past boxer did he most aspire to emulate?

Question: There was talk about you fighting Tyson some years ago, around 1996 & 2003, if I remember rightly?

Do you seriously believe you would have been able to live with Tyson back in 1996?

I'd like to know if he wishes he stayed at heavy after the John Ruiz fight. He could of waited on the mega fight with a Lewis, Holyfield or Tyson and if it did happen and he lost or it it didn't happened and he retired his legacy would of been incredible.

But don't phrase it like that.

Also, ask him can he not just launch a media career like Calzaghe? Appear on a show per week or some shindig, collect 5K and leave, no punches given or taken.

What was the worst he ever felt before a fight interms of niggling injuries or illness?

Did he ever take a fight injured?

Who does he wish he fought that he never did?

Does he believe that a fighter is born with talent or learns how to fight?
