Good testing fight for him, see how much he has left against a tough, hungry prospect. I would favour Pryce as he has better boxing ability and far more expierence but we will see how much he has left after this one
Re: Bradley Sugar Sweet V George Hillyard @ Welter weight
I'll believe it when I see it. I don't think that George could get down to welter and be strong and energetic. Pryce is still a real handful against very decent men; George isn't yet proven at the same level. I can't see it happening though I'd like to see both box a few times this season.

I wouldnt call Hillyard a tough, hungry prospect it should be a 2-3round win for the welshman if hes as good as he once was...alexpaterson wrote:Good testing fight for him, see how much he has left against a tough, hungry prospect. Hillyard always seemed to have talent, but maybe his attitude wasn't quite right.

Re: Bradley Sugar Sweet V George Hillyard @ Welter weight
When Hillyard started out it was often said he lacked motivation or had an attitude problem.
It doesn't seem to have improved in 5 years as a pro. He wasn't fit enough to do 5 rounds with Thirlwall when he effectively gave up on his stool, and was awful when he came back in prizefighter.
I give him next to no chance vs Pryce, i'd be surprised if he saw the 3rd round

I can't see Hillyard making Welter. Light middle, yes, if he's dedicated himself. George needs this win if he's going to finally get into title contention.
