These Fwarren mega shows

Not sure wether this has been spoke abut before but was thinking, why dosent he do a magnificent 7 type bill 3-4 times a year? Id gladly pay for another mag 7 type bill after the last one and will do for the dec 11th show. If he kept the name of it the same, people would recognize it and know that there getting value for money, shows would sell out and PPV would get better as time went on obviously as long as the matchmaking was still competitive.

It just seems to make so much sense and im sure if they put enough thought into it they could get the right routine with the same stable of fighter.

I tell you what, Benny (are you from the Bronx, by the way?), I reckon if you think back to the shows FW used to put on in Manchester a few years back, they were as stacked as the Mag' 7 card and happened as frequently as you suggest. So it has been proven to work.

The thing you need, though, to help it is to have stables of guys on the same schedule. Think back to the days I mentioned. How many of the headliners were either at Brian Hughes' or Billy's? The only major exception was Moorsey and also further down the card Wayne Pinder and a couple of others. All the main names were with the same two trainers. It made the whole thing work.

That's why it's good that Arnie's gym is bristling. You've got a good start to a card there.

there are no real headliner's. warrensports just seem to be really marketing & spending money on promotion for these show's. it's hard time's & i bet frank aint happy with dishing out the readies in the current climate

Meaningful fights are good- paying for them is not, however EWarren has a good product there if he brands it. Makes it his quarterly thing to put these meaningful shows on.

I'm hoping that he's seen the error of his ways over the last couple of years with just trying to captialise on big names with nothing much else.

This format is far better and seems to be a growing trend. Golden Boy do it and even down to the smaller promotors. You only have to look at Frampton's next fight in Ireland and have a look at the rest of the card and you notice far more decent match ups, with title's on the line even if they're area title's it's better than seeing a card being made up with the headliner and then the rest are a mix of prospects and journeymen.
