I'm having "the conversation" tonight with the missus. I'm pitching it as a Christams market trip to Frankfurt

I might be going through bakers dolphin coaches.....it takes you to Germany for shopping so im just gonna slip off from the oldies and head to the fight. Been quoted £269pp that includes 3 nights in a 3 star hotel but no feckin brekkie.......long coach trip as well but its the best i can find and it leaves from w-s-m

If I had the money for it then I would give it some serious consideration, but alas no.

Hopefully there's a better undercard than the most Klitschko undercards. Banks will no doubt get a fight hopefully its not a rematch with Gavern ![[icon_witsend.gif] :witzend:](./images/smilies/icon_witsend.gif)

I just can't wait to hear the theme tune from OFAH to start up to the bemusment of the German fans... maybe Del Boy will try to outdo Klit and come into the ring on a 3-wheeler... London - Paris - Mannehiem

Excellent. It's amazing what one can get away with by using a little bit of wisdom.MacTavish wrote:I'm having "the conversation" tonight with the missus. I'm pitching it as a Christams market trip to FrankfurtD

A cheap way of doing this is also to fly from London Stansted to Frankfurt Hahn with RyanAir. From Frankfurt Hahn there is a bus to Mannheim which takes about 2 hours and costs 18 euro. I think you can get a flight there from either East Midlands or Manchester too.

Depends on the undercard....Let's be clear, patriotism aside, it's a total mismatch
Re: Anybody going to Klitchko v Chisora?
Queensbury Travel is doing a trip. With flights, return airport transfers, 2 nights in a city centre hotel and fight ticket. See her for details. http://queensburytravel.com/WladimirKli ... isora.aspx
Re: Anybody going to Klitchko v Chisora?
In my experience, that don't work. The twats always find out that boxing is the main reason to going to a country, and they spend the next 12 months making you pay for it.MacTavish wrote:I'm having "the conversation" tonight with the missus. I'm pitching it as a Christams market trip to FrankfurtD

The answer was a resounding no! ![[icon_shame.gif] :shame:](./images/smilies/icon_shame.gif)
Re: Anybody going to Klitchko v Chisora?
i'm not going, but if chisora does pretty well, gets a bit of success or goes out swinging, there'll be a demand for haye vs chisora as sky will be looking for the next big domestic fight to put on PPV. the longer haye is unable to sort out a fight with the klitschkos, the more likely this becomes, and ppl will want to make the most money possible out of del boy.
Re: Anybody going to Klitchko v Chisora?
chisora will be tied to a contract to face either vitali or wlad in a rematch should he winAutobarn wrote:i'm not going, but if chisora does pretty well, gets a bit of success or goes out swinging, there'll be a demand for haye vs chisora as sky will be looking for the next big domestic fight to put on PPV. the longer haye is unable to sort out a fight with the klitschkos, the more likely this becomes, and ppl will want to make the most money possible out of del boy.

I got return flights from Stanstead to Frankfurt for about £26 all in with Ryan Air.
Just need to get down from Frankfurt to Mannheim.
They've gone up a little, but you can still fly out on the saturday lunctime, coming back sunday lunch time for £40.

3 of us are going - a return taxi from frankfurt to mannheim is about 50 euros each from what i can see. So it still works out as fairly cheap to get there overall.
