Anyone know how i stop being firewalled?

If you are in an office then the firewall is probably controlled by the IT department so it is up to them to turn it on or off.

might be able to help...

- which windows version are u using?
- do u know which firewall software u have?
- where are you trying to get/watch the fight from?

im using windows xp. not sure what firwall software im using. was trying to download from world boxing video archives using bittorent tornado but its not working so i assume im behind a firewall. any help will be fantastic

If you are using the standard XP firewall.........
Click on
Control Panel
Security Center
and you will see the ON/OFF button for the XP firewall. At the bottom of this page you will see 'Windows Firewall' click on this, then just click the OFF button.

Obviously do the reverse when you have finished downloading as it is vital to be firewalled nowadays.

In fairness a home user who doesn't know how to turn his firewall on/off isn't going have a clucking flue what a DMZ is.

Good chance to show off you know what one is though....
