that's Stan Christodolou, so by process of elimination it's definitely John Jarvis.

Great image, that.

At the time, I never appreciated just how good Eubank was. Not just in terms of boxing skill, but how much of a character he was, and how good that was for the profile of boxing in the UK. Totally took it for granted as I was growing up that 'that is just how boxers are'. I've subsequently found out how wrong I was!

Another in a long line of god awful Eubank mismatches Hearn served up via the mugs at Sky TV - Jarvis was over 40 years old and had been flattened in his last fight too.

10/10 well done.

He's very proud of this picture, I believe it won a sports picture of the year award.

If you ever attend Alans house for a check weight its on every f***ing wall.

Dont you just wish there were signs of another Eubank about to break onto the scene. What happened to really entertaining fighters like Jones Jr, Nas and Eubank, who actually got in the ring to put on a show. I mean PBF is a great fighter but he doesnt go in and deliberatly entertain.

Great image that one by the way, might invest :TU:

I would hardly call Eubank an entertaining fighter, yes he had a few entertaining fights but IMO when he moved up into championship class he was very fustrating to watch
Wel have to agree to disagree on that one, but i was refering to the showmanship and theatre those boxers created.

i'm with you on the showmanship and theatre he brought to his fights but still found him very negative and fustrating to watch Especially after the 2 Watson fight for understandable reasons
Oh theres no doubt he lost his edge after the watson fight, he was never the same, he never went all out like he used to, pleanty of times you could see him holding back or backing off. He was still in some great fights after that though win or loose.
