I was with pepaseed at the expo and 120, and concur about how Haye was behaving - that being said as someone mentioned already maybe he gets a bit tetchy during a camp, and then again, anyone can have a bad day and get moody...

another pic for you all...

Spencer Fisher - this was at 120, after his fight with Curt Warburton.
Spencer won the fight, but in the bar where I met him he could barely walk - still one of the safest down to earth fighters Ive met....same with Miguel Torres, Kurt Pellegrino, and Jon Jones

Image

All in all a crackin' couple of days. Didnt think the card turned out to be as quite as good as some previous events weve been too, but it was still good.

Carlos Condit KO'ing Dan Hardy was crazy....fair play to Dan Hardy for doing the interview, going to hospital, then heading back for the post fight presser - not many losing fighters woudl do that, let alone those on the end of a KO like that. And he showed real class in both the interview and the press conf.

Meeting Cotto is still one of the highlights of the year for me....

He was a nice guy early in his pro career, but he did have to cop an enormous amount of hate at times, especially from muppets like Hobson's trainer and after the Thompson fight. That may well have changed his outlook.

I've always found David Haye to be very likeable in the flesh. Same with Audley as well.......

Would rather be walking kinfin to be honest its been my first outing out of my house for anything social for 11 months and felt shit having to go in a chair, most of the fighters where stopped by my mates that were walking and they treated me the same as they did them. You prob didn't mean anything bad by your comment and its cool mate no harm done.

Very nice pictures mate :OhYes: , would loved to have met Miguel Cotto myself.
Haye's a BIG UFC fan so was probably there to see the fighters himself a bit incognito. Friend of mine knows him from the trade first hand says he's a good bloke.

sorry if that was a bit incensitive mate i didnt mean it in a bad way - the way i read your post above was the chair was just short term mainly for the expo to get around while you were recovering, so i meant the post as an every cloud has a silver linning type thing (ie the great photos). Sorry if i got the wrong end of the stick.

Nice of you to give the benfit of the doubt there tonyevs!!!

yeah, him and one of his older brothers... we all went to school together, we all used to be really good mates, get in trouble and link up everyday lol our parents where all friends, me and his bro went on holiday and that, but over the years sort lost contact more and more... we used to link up all the time, mad that hes done so well, i hope he carries on... im not really a fan of mma so i dont know much about it, im a massive boxing fan and follow the sport religiously, so not really clued up the mma... one thing ufc has got over boxing is the promoters... there is none lol the board pic the fights so all the best names are fairly matched and all the fights people wanna see happen do... i wish boxing was like that...
