SYKES IN PRIZEFIGHTER!

Post by GlobalBox »

Bit of a coup for the competition, current British champion in the next one.

Good line up to be honest - it is the best so far, just hope it holds up

SYKES
TSEVEENPUREV
BELL
BUCKLAND
MATTHEWS
McARTHUR
O'HARA
LAWTON

Should suit Sykes as well this format, draw will be more important than ever here, no easy fights

Sykes will be hard to beat with his style over three rounds. It just shows though that the £32,000 on offer is considerably more than he can expect for defending his British title.

Best prizefighter line up and much needed after the last installment. Hope we don't have the usual round of withdrawals...

Prizefighter is as good as the line up shows that more fighters want the cash at the lower weights!

I am really surprised he has entered, but afterall could be a good pay day and a a few more wins on his record. Will be tough though.

Credit for him putting his name in, it is brave.

seems they're really upping the quality of this prize fighter. last one didn't have much to offer, did it? i was excited enough with choi - deserving of a chance at something - and buckland. of course, choi may be too old, might not be able to pull the trigger fast enough, and maybe buckland will lose something coming down in weight. so for good measure, sykes' inclusion is very welcome. that seems a risk, considering he's british champion. that said if anyone has a good style for prize fighter. it's sykes.

Do you know what he was offered then? I'm also doubtful it would be as high as 32k.
