As A Criminal - Should Chisora Be Allowed To Fight Vlad?
He has admitted assaulting someone. What do you think?
Re: As A Criminal - Should Chisora Be Allowed To Fight Vlad?
Has he been found guilty of any criminal charges?
Re: As A Criminal - Should Chisora Be Allowed To Fight Vlad?
If we kick all the criminals out of boxing there won't be much left

There's no morals in sport now so i don't see why not. Marlon King (assaulting a woman, theft amongst other crimes) and Lee Hughes (death by dangerous driving, fleeing the scene of a crime) are both being paid to play football.

Don King stomped and pistol whipped a man to death.

Chisora pleads guilty to assault
Heavyweight title challenger Dereck Chisora has pleaded guilty to an assault charge and will appear in court on November 10 for sentencing. The charge carries a maximum penalty of up to six months in prison and/or a fine, but despite the guilty plea Chisora is expected to remain free to train and travel to Mannheim, Germany to fight Wladimir Klitschko on December 11.

i didn't even know about this and i talk to Derek. We don't know the facts so no one can say whether he was in the right or wrong but that shouldn't stop him doing his job. And the general comment that someone with a record shouldn't box isn't right. I mean don't people deserve a second chance. I like to think that I am showing people who have been in trouble b4 that you can still be productive and positive if people let u

Lots of boxers have been caught up in things like this, Chisora is nowhere near the first. Remeber there are boxers who have been sent down and still come out fighting for titles later.

Well, I agree - but the BBBofC have a different stance. There is the 'bringing sport into disrepute" (or something) clause............
Could Chisora fight in Germany with a suspended BBBofC licence? I'm not sure but don't think so

Is this the thing they've suspended Hatton on? If so, is a promoter doing coke worse than a domestic heavyweight champion punching someone?reggaereggae wrote:carlbcfc wrote:You can't take a mans livelyhood away. Let him fight.
