Not seen anything of Peter, but by all accounts he's not much of a boxer, just a murderous puncher. Audley would probably just outbox him, but we've seen that he doesn't like pressure and is very uncomfortable when coming under attack. This could prove disasterous against a fighter with Peter's power.

Peter is by NO means a murderous puncher at world level.

He's a crude fighter who has been hyped up due to seemingly lack of better prospects.

Audley, seriously, would beat him easily.

Peter is in form and that IS a good and significant contest for Audley.

My guess is it's just that - talk. I'd be AMAZED if Audley suddenly decided to face one of the hardest punchers in the heavyweight division, after a steady diet of stumblebums and no hopers for the last 4 years.

Chances are good Peter would flatten him. He's looked a bit alarmed at taking cruiserweight punches in the past, so this would be a massive step up for him.

More likely they'll appear on the same card together against a couple of bar room bouncers.

People are talking about Samuel Peter as if he is the second coming of George Foreman, based on him banging out ancient, porcelain jawed blown up cruiserweight Jeremy Williams....

That's like me go going to scunthorpe on a day trip, and fornicating some fat bird in an alleyway before covering myself in curry sauce and puke, and claiming I am an international playboy.

Having said that, Audley is more in the scunthorpe region right now himself, so I am not saying he would or wouldn't beat Peter, but provided he is able to handle the pressure, and maintain stamina, he certainly has the skill advantage over Peter.

My favourite graffiti ever was the bright spark who wrote on a road sign on the M1 or whatever it is....

Alright then, he's not a murderous puncher, but he has got good power. And if Audley can be rocked by Mark Krence, imagine what would happen if Peter caught him with a decent dig

James,

I havent spoken to you for a while mate, but if they have got a mental ward in Blackshaw Road, you need to get down there mate.

There is NO WAY on Gods green earth that Audley would ever beat Samuel Peter. Whilst Peter is far from accomplished, he is way above Audley, and always will be.

Nice to be back on the forum, albeit under a different user name.
