vacant WBO Inter-Continental light welterweight title

Post by slapbangwhallop »

Anyone noticed that

Frankie Gavin is due to fight Dean Harrison for this piece of muck at the Echo Arena in December over 12 rounds, but

Alex De Jesus is due to fight Likar Ramos in Colombia on Halloween night for the same title but over 10 rounds.

It begs the question - a. how can this happen and b. why do promoters feed us this pish? :witzend:

A pure farce. Typical of the wbo. Intercontintal and international title fights are a joke.

A find it more of a farce that Dean Harrison is actually fighting Frankie Gavin. Harrison is going to be a punching bag for how many rounds Frankie Gavin decides. Gavin needs to fight guys like Wright, Lynes and Daws now.

another major title fight for FW's bumper world title bill.

to think, some of us hoped (naively) that braehmer (for cleverly) or sylvester (for macklin) were being lined up. that the card was actually going to be better than the magnificent 7, with german champs, not contenders coming over this time.

No, I hadn't. I gave up on all these belts years ago. I'd come bottom of a trivia quiz on 'belts'. And this is why - good spot.

Disgraceful.

You have to consider Klitschko-Chisora is part of the broadcast, which along with Smith-Degale runs Mag7 very close, probably surpasses it for me.Mag7 would have been better had Macklin-Barker come off.

I think dean Harrison is better than that he is tough he never got close to being stopped by wright infact had wright down but agree would rather be fighting wright or daws, but it was not to be hopefully get the winner of theopane daws if that comes off
