Nice response Curtis.

Bit of a rest, bit of perspective and things will be a lot clearer in a few weeks.

Good luck.

woodhouse is extremely roar & is still learning at his ripe old age. aslong as he aint getting hiding's & can show in his next fights he is still improving he should continue & he might win a british one day.

when you think mcdonagh's last fight's have been daws, gavin, arthur, woodhouse is a wALK in the park.

No shame in losing to a good fighter like McDonagh, yes the Gavin fight has lost its credability in a lot of ways but don't be surprised if you still get that call. Its not unusual for FWP to choose 'known' fighters with losses for there up and comers. That said I'm sure both you and Frankie will want to go in different directions after this.

Your still a good fighter Curtis, this result changes nothing. You've lost before remember- just learn and come back. All those who write you off need to remember where you've come from and that you have no amateur to fall back on. To find that ilusive winning formular so early is a great indication of your ability.

Don't let it get you down.

HOW WRONG u were, not gunna take michael or anything but he might get down of the old high horse, back to reality and bounce back, off our radar now, might as well get our lad matched with mcdonagh, I do feel for curtis woodhouse but coldwell ,that's another question,?
Hey ho, I was wrong. I also though Rendall Munroe would have stood a better chance in Japan and he lost by 11 points. I fancied Curtis to step up, but it didn't work out. No biggy.

Well done for curtis coming on here and facing the music as well.

Hard luck Curtis . At least youve got the balls to come on here and admit you were outclassed on the night. Lets face facts folks , Curtis Woodhoouse was a pro footballer , fancied his chances in the ring with no amateur experience and aint done too bad at all. How many people do we know are great armchair fans , or pissed in the crowd shouting obscenities or think they know it all about boxing but never stepped in a ring in their life. Im an ex amateur and know first hand how daunting the sport is , its a lonely place in the ring so anyone who can step in there be it amateur or pro , then i take my hat off to you. Better luck next time Curtis.

Unlucky bud, you've showed a lot of class with the post though. Not many can say they've done the things you have.

There's a British Masters welterweight fight on the 4th December which could throw up an opponent for you for next year

It was a close fight, Curtis has continued to improve at an alarming rate and can come back from this

Its not that bad a result.Mcdonagh is very good.He beat Purdy and pushed Daws and has a lot of good names on his record.Dont think just because Gavin shut him out everyone else can.Gavin will shut out a lot more people in the years to come.

Good, honest post from Woodhouse. :TU:

That said, think what Frankie Gavin would have done to him. Time for them both to move in different directions from here onwards.
