Listen, I was wrong because Super featherweight does not interest me one bit - why would it?
If you want to get picky and be a smart arse over who's in the know then let's do that. I said that Sykes hasn't got a voluntary because he is entering Prizefighter. THAT HAS TO BE CORRECT because if Sykes loses to a British fighter then the BBBoC have to reconsider his status as champion.

So I wasn't wrong after all. :TU:

My other point was also correct. Sykes would never make £32k in a British title fight. I'll go as far as saying he wouldn't in a European title fight either. I also know that for his management to let a reigning British champion enter Prizefighter - things must not be looking bright for his own ticket selling and earning potential.
My opinion is also spot on in saying Ricky Burns is the number one in Britain. My opinion is also he'd beat Sykes pretty easily.

can't disagree with much of this ^^^^^ esp in terms of how entering PF would make Sykes' earning potential seem right now :TU:

Because it is a good division with some very good domestic fights that can be made.

Your point being?
Why would that still interest me? I'm not a boxing enthusiast, I don't make ratings, I don't know the 4 main world champions at each weight.
I do know the top 25 in the world at super middle. Pay a lot of attention to the featherweights as my brother boxes at feather.

Super feather doesn't interest me. I watch it when Crolla fights or Burns.

I thought your question, asking why you would be interested in the Super Featherweight division, was odd. Why bother asking the question?

To answer your question, I was asked a question by someone who suggested I should automatically KNOW who Gary Sykes was fighting next, who was his mandatory and who was his voluntary.

I didn't see where he said "Horse, answer that for me lad" or where I said "Horse, answer this for me"

If you didn't want anyone else to get involved then you should have private messaged him.

Not at all, and if I did it would be just a suggestion. Not an order like you gave.
Let's leave the handbags here, eh?
If this carries on I'll never get in your P4P list.

If you beat DeGale and I leave you out then I think people might start to suspect that I am being a little bit biased against you.

Sykesy hasn't boxed since May, not his fault so the fact he is going into this says 2 things. 1, the BBBC haven't yet mandated anyone to fight him, because they've set a series of eliminators. Crolla won his (not final), but now Trusscott has to fight Johansonne. What is Gazza supposed to do, wait around for this to get sorted?? Second, the kid has some balls and all the people criticising are the ones saying champions are protected these days so make up your minds. Finally a champion who says he'll step up and he gets stick for it!

As for Keys good fighter but even he wouldn't sat Sykesy is ducking him, having beaten him a few times as an amateur!!! I knw Gaz and he'll fight anybody!

i agree with that. So what if he's British Champ, if he fancies getting in the mix to win 32 grand good on him, he's got the rest of his career to concentrate on titles.

No mate, #1 is sorted well and truly.
You are a Sykes fan or friend. Understandable you rate your man. Burns is the number one at the weight.
