Arv Mittoo definitely sounds asian, an amazing record, 47-bout winless streak!!!!
This guy is the definition of journeyman!
Fair play to him though as he has had nearly 100 bouts !

Thanks for the input.

Hamed is of Middle Eastern descent, his family are from Yemen I think.

There was Harry Dhami, he had some success at British level a while back. Not sure if he's retired or not. There was also a fella called Bobby Bangher who fought as recently as last year.

Arv Mittoo is black - I have seen him box a few times.

Haider Ali is also Pakistani, not British, though he is British-based.

Bradford had some reasonablish fighters: Huggi (not sure his full name) Semi-Pro Cruser - meant to be 9-1 but went to prison for extortion

Shahid Kayani (amateur) - doesn't fight anymore not sure about his record but is the best I've seen from Bradford, very good pressure fighter, tight skills, good defense and has the best left hook I've ever seen below heavyweight

According to a pakistani newspaper theres a pakistani amateur world champiom - http://www.amateurboxingunion.co.uk  - I think the world for the ABU is whoever shows up to Rick Manners Leeds gym. Did Ricky Hatton used to fight here?

Alex Mehta certainly was the world white-collar champ at middle a couple of years back. Not sure if he's still chugging away, he was up at the Kronk. Very talented, and a lovely guy to boot.

I also believe Esham Pickering is actually half English, half mauritian. I may be wrong....

Daniel TEasdale is half English half Sri Lankan I think....

From the past theres the serial loser Ram Singh, British welter title holder Harry Dhami &Tanveer Ahmed.

I also remember watching a flyweight from India from ky a few years back and looked pretty good, he was fighting from Britain, had a few fights and then disappeared, cant rember his name though.

Maurtius is an island in the INdian Ocean I think.....so I guess it could count as Asian. THough I think it is marginally nearer Africa....

I am not sure what continent it is counted as part of.....

It's part of Asia.

I had an idea for a Seikh musical once, about a young Seikh boy called ram who wants to become a pop star.

I was going to call it "Sing, Ram, Sing!"

Cue drum roll.... :TU:
