Gavilan Trains With Scouse

Kid Gavilan, highly respected pugilist that's currently on a bad streak, has been sparring at the gym of PSP Promotions' fighters, hoping to change his fortune. Coming off a devastating loss against Fritzie Zivic, Gavilan has been sharing the ring with both championship contenders, and fighters in fantastic form, Mickey Walker and Jose Napoles.

Gavilan has said himself that he's starting to loathe the regime his current management team have him on. He's become disillusioned with life which is highlighted in his consistent, average performances. Gavilan should be challenging the likes of Sugar Ray Robinson and Henry Armstrong, but instead he's down in the dumps, kicking his heels with Marlon Starling and Roberto Duran.

The experience has buoyed the Cuban though. He's feeling fresher, looser, and is actually walking round with a smile on his face. Expect big things to come.
