Well,Jonp(a knowledgeable, respected all round fight figure),Steve Wood(Promoter) and Paul Smith(A British champ!) all agree.
smigga also stated for that weight.. i spoke to someone whose in line for a british title shot and they said to me.. first defence is worth £30,000 thats all i was going off and also what i was told in a phone call thrusday night..
30 k is way too steep, maybe for a Heavy Weight, i guess at his weight it would be about 10 k, 20 max.

I'd just like to say gary sykes has not turned the fight down twice with me. The fights have not come off due to other reasons, shows not coming off,tv dates. I class gary as a friend and i personally no he wants the fight with me just as much as i do to. I dont think that any fighter is a shitbag and anybody who steps in the ring has to have alot of bottle and courage and deserves full respect. I'd just like to wish gary n all the other fighters the best of luck in the prizefighter and hope a fight between me and gary can happen in the new year :TU:

closer inspection says differently......u concede he cud be number 2....time will tell....but i like burns, know him well but since the usual suspects he beat 2 africans not up to much,1 had just fought at feather, then a well faded gomez, then a fairly close one with ohara, who sykes beat easy, then 8 rds points win over al hamidi,i dont think al hamidi lasts 8 wi sykes...then martinez...good but not great fighter, too slow for burns..thats why i picked burns to beat him.....hope we see sykes burns or foster nxt year ,thats what boxing should be ...like u and degale top guys should fight each other, then all debates end...well usually.
jon was messing u do look younger than sid....thats if hes 53 :OhYes:

I was trying to be diplomatic being honest. In my opinion Foster is a better figher than Sykes. In other opinions he is EBU champion and so ranked higher. In others they will have Sykes higher.
Foster beats Sykes in my opinion. I've known Sykes a long time since he was my brother's weight in the amateurs.
You rate him higher than everyone because he is your fighter, doesn't take a genius to see that.
I don't rate him as highly as you, he's a good kid, but I had Morris shading the fight if I remember rightly, very close and think Crolla would beat him now, along with Foster and Burns.

Just my opinion obviously.
