Tiger Tiger in Croydon?....I see your into fat birds then coz thats all that seems to go in there or that crappy disco bar next door lol.

3pm-Watch my beloved Non-League team in London get beat again.....but counter that by watching my beloved Glasgow Rangers win again.

4.45pm-Have a bit of dinner then maybe crack open a few beers(not at once i might add)

7.30-Watch X-Factor to please my pregnant missus

10.00- Try and get the fight for free online as im a cheapskate who cant be arsed to pay £15 to watch it on box office.

10.03- Bed :OhYes:

SteveDow wrote:So lads, we are just over 2 weeks away from the big fight. Just thought I'd start a thread on how you guys plan to go about your day? Am particularly interested in those of you attending the fight, like myself but would be interested in a bit of an insight into a true boxing fans day also.

Me: Watch Man United v Villa at 12.45pm in London. Hop on the train with my mate to Manchester enjoying several beers. Arrive around 6pm. Taxi to hotel, beers in busy Manchester bar near the Arena. Get to Arena about 8pm, watch Hall v Davies fight and then for the big one!!

Afterwards: nightclub then try to find somewhere screening Manny Pacquiao v Margareto.
Well my son is in the army, served in iraq and done the shit, but never seen a live fight.

anyway, 4 of us going, we are going to set off from North Yorks maybe 11ish. we are staying over in Travelodge in Oldham (anyone else staying there??) hopefully we will get there about 3ish, quick shower, and a Mcdonalds then taxi to MEN. We will proberly watch the whole bill, ive been to lots of live action so ill be popping in and out of the arena to get the drinks. After the big fight we will proberly go into manchester and go clubbing or something, back to Lodge and hopefully set off home about 11am.

Its gonna be a great day, by the way my tickets are block 203 anyone else near by??

i'm not really a fan of either fighter and last time I was at the MEN for Barrera it was full of fcking wankers, although I did enjoy the show immensely, as well as a weekend in Manc.
I'll either catch it in the pub with mates if I'm out that night or maybe pop out with the Mrs and catch it, for a drink in town mainly.
Failing that I will stay in and avoid getting sucked on to Boxrec following a RBR thread like a fking nerd for what is, IMO, a farce of a fight.

I might throw a few bob on Haye inside 3 altho the odds will be pure garbage and no doubt Audley survive a couple more rounds anyway if I do that.

The guy that got laughed at for seeking a bet on Haye inside 60 seconds is IMO not wide of the mark at all. I think Haye will take him out in round 1.......it might be a stupid tactic to go bezerk on Audley so early in the fight but Audley's defence being what it is, it won't matter. Haye KO1.

Head into Manchester with my wife in the afternoon, check into our hotel, couple of drinks and a bite to eat before heading to the MEN Arena. I'm trying to convince her to cheer for Big Aud but she hates him and wants Haye to win.

I've still got a fortnight to bring her round. YES HE CAN :box: :bag:

buy the event

ring all my mates to make sure they are coming around

then probably sit watching x factor or whatever is on with my misses (worste luck)

Then wait for the lads to come round - Then its on!!!!

Does the bombay mix/beer combination work??.....Ive never tried it. Hmmm i might try that one instead of the usual dry roasted nut with my Saturday shant.

watch with OVERHAND RIGHT in farringdon

take five pounds off OVERHAND RIGHT when haye wins inside 3 minutes

possibly console OVERHAND RIGHT when audley is dispatched/run around the room celebrating large win (not the 5 pound one)
