What happened to Georgie Smith!

Being a Yank, I don't have sources for a lot of the 80s and 90s British fighters and I was wondering if anyone knows what happened to Georgie Smith? I know he was a good amateur and scored some pretty impressive one punch knockouts as a pro, but he just seemed to disappear after his last defeat!

Yeah i was asking about him not so long ago, i remember he was pretty tall and had a pineapple hairdo.
